A few from Blue Moon:

Could arguably become our strongest challengers over the season, and I expect a hard, physical contest. A draw would not be the worst result, but a defeat would just add to their confidence; similarly, a win for us would likely dent them. An interesting sideshow will be Rodri v Ndombele.

Think this lot will finish runners-up this season.
Late kick-off plenty of beer, good atmosphere mixed in with a weaker Spurs side dye to injuries/suspensions.
A win by at least 2 clear goals.

Got a feeling it'll be 1-1, hope I'm wrong though.

One of the toughest games of the season. I still see the champions winning this. Come on city

Think we'll have too much for Spurs. Will have to watch the pace of Moura, up top for them.
At least they won't have Son, as well.

If we played Spurs 10 times and Chelsea 10 times we’d beat Chelsea more than Spurs, Spurs are the better side regardless of last years league position

Such a big chance early on. Win this well and I can see the dippers already starting to feel a little heat. It’s so early but if they see us hit our stride early that could be a big psychological blow.

I think Spurs will becomes a very decent outfit this season too so catching them early while they are settling in an entirely new midfield could be a good a time as any. Expect us to do the business.

4-1 city, we will destroy them and put a marker Down early. :)

we will be up for this players and fans. Bernie to come in for his work rate and control.
Think we win this 3-1 Sterling, kev & Sergio - Kane for them from the penalty spot. c'mon Cityyyyy

I have them down to finish second so I rate Spurs. Not enough to take anything off us at the Etihad, though.
I confess to having a private agenda too. The guy on my neighbouring allotment, who is a Spurs fan and town gobshite, has put a plastic cockerel on our party fence. I’m looking forward to painting a bright red arse ring on it.

I just want to see that lisping prick Kane shut out completely.
We need a higher tempo and quicker ball speed. The chances will come, we just need to be ruthless. 2-1 City.
No need for a dig reference the lisp, you are better than that

Well said, the abuse Kane gets is beyond pathetic - a class striker and seems a decent guy
That's all very nice.

for me 8 pts from 12 pts is a very decent start.
We should be set out to knick a draw.
But they will be gunning for us after last year, but we more than held our own away to them last season.

Will be a tough game this, after both teams made winning starts to the season. Under Guardiola, we’ve won two and drawn one of our three home games against Spurs. Think we’ll see pretty much the same team as yesterday, but Bernardo could well come back in. Be harsh to drop Mahrez after though.

I hope they bring their first half game v Villa for both halves.

And we bring our second half game to both halves! Hate spurs, stuff the fuckers

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

This is our only big game until Liverpool, it’s key we win here as we’re in for a tough winter, a commanding lead should hopefully demoralise the scousers.

What Levy has done is simply genius. By providing automated beer delivery, no cash payment, people get to get faster delivery. In most stadiums, everyone's rushes out after the game to beat the traffic...but in new WHL, with faster & efficient service, what we have done is to start a post-match tradition /culture among the Spurs fans to hang around, have some beers and talk about the game...
This is not just post-game, pre-game as well.
Let's not forget the most important factor - price.

£4 Amstel is pretty much unheard of in football stadiums. Not only is it a decent beer (itself a rarity in stadiums) but you'll struggle to find an Amstel for £4 anywhere else in London. Even the £5 beavertown is good value. I'm in a pub right now and Neck Oil is £6.20!!

The pie / sausage roll and pint offer is superb too. Was in a round of 5 on saturday. 5 Amstels, 3 sausage rolls, 2 pies... £25.

I used to arrive at WHL 20 minutes before ko and leave at full time. About 2 hours in the ground, and 2 beers at most. Now I'm regularly in the ground for 5 hours and spending well over £50 on food and drink.

To be fair both City and United fans are generally level headed and honest with their opinions. How the fuck are the Liverpool fans so bad?!

Because its more akin to a religious cult than a regular football club...
My mrs, who has no interest in football whatsoever, made that exact comment while I was watching Pool v Norwich. She said it after she saw the new banner they have with their six CL winning managers, the one that looks like it's from Communist Russia.

They are a special breed.
