Is Tierny really good? And them signing David Luiz is like us signing Gallas - stop gap solution. Cant believe the scums are so glad with their business. They have literally spend so much without a future planned.

If someone created a football club online and then turned it into the real thing...that would be Arsenal these days. Strange club.

The mural behind the goal at Highbury had a clearer identity lol

Apart from being ****s of course.

I actually think Luiz is a decent signing for them. They've had a good window overall, but not sure about their mentality. There are leaders all over the pitch in our team. Kane, Lloris, Toby, Verts, Dier, Rose etc I don't really see that with any of Arsenal's players apart from Sokratis.

They still took 4 points off us last season though.

I think they have stood still. Although that might be a small achievement for them. They can score goals and will roll over a lot of the bottom feeders in the league .

Still very flawed, and still huge questions over their mentality, but they can hang around in the top 6 and if Man U and Chelsea flop could sneak 4th.

No way they can realistically play Pepe, Auba and Lacazette in the same team with the defence they have.

I actually think they have had a pretty good (unfortunately) window and we can all see that the so called £40m budget was a load of bollocks!.
Holding is back, and with Sokratis and Luiz they won’t be that bad at the back. Not sure they have enough in midfield though.
It’s CL or bust for Woolwich this season and if they don’t make it Emery will be told to clear his desk and F off!. Either way it will be very close and AFTV will be as bipolar as ever I am sure.

Weird squad building by Arse.

They've lost:
Cech (GK)
Ospina (GK)
Koscielny (DF)
Lichsteiner (DF)
Bielik (DF)
Jenkinson (DF)
Ramsey (MF)
Welbeck (FW)

And signed:
Tierney (DF)
Luiz (DF)
Ceballos (MF, loan)
Martinelli (FW)
Pepe (MF/FW?)

and in a year, they'll have Saliba.

So the 'replacements' are:
Cech (GK) -> No one
Ospina (GK) -> No one
Koscielny (DF) -> Luiz
Lichsteiner (DF) -> No one
Bielik (DF) - Probably doesn't count
Jenkinson (DF) - Tierney
Ramsey (MF) - Pepe/Ceballos
Welbeck (FW) - Martinelli

So, by my reckoning, they have failed to replace two 'keepers and a CB, and have replaced Welbeck with Martinelli, who is a random young lad from the lower leagues of Brazil, so they seem to have left some big holes.

I assume they're going to bring in some free transfers?
