He’s done ever so well this summer. Good on him for seizing the chance. Be very interesting to see what happens with him in the next week.

Hope the priority is to extend his contract as he only has 1 year left on it. @IGSpur mentioned that Tanganga can play RB but is better suited to CB. A lot will also depend on how long Aurier, Foyth and Dier are unavailable for and if Poch trusts him enough to give him minutes in the PL.

Another decent outing for him. That pen was too close for comfort, but I am glad it when in.

Unless we get unlucky with CB injuries, Tanganga needs to have a strong second position to his game if he is to break through this season.
Good as he is at CB, he needs to try to get to grips with RB because that is where we are weakest. His priority must be to get in the side.

Good pre season, I hope he gets a couple games this season. Potentially saved us a fortune if he can step up and become one of the main CBs. Need to see a bit more of him though. Looked so relaxed though, I felt calm with him on the ball (ok it was friendlies but he just looked like he had been playing for the first team for years).

A few of the youngsters have impressed so far in preseason... Sad reality is they won't get the minutes required to make that step up.

Every season we tip youngster X to make the break through but it doesn't translate to minutes in the season. Skipp and KWP should have played more last season. I would like to see a few youngsters being given some minutes.

Watching that final and seeing Nkoudo play raised some questions....

Very composed player technically moves like a Rolls Royce / Bentley. I can't work out what foot is strongest, I see him using both equally well.

Amazing he took one. Very brave to step up. Poch will love that.

Was really impressed with all the youngsters penalties. I know it was just a friendly, but it was likely the biggest match they’d played in, against a top side in front of their fans. Great experience for them all.

I bet the Gooners would be punching their pants if Saliba had put in the performances Tanganga has in pre season.

Put GKN in the shop window. Let’s hope it worked.
That shoulder barge from Ronaldo did KWP No good at all. He just needs to be physically stronger but it may be that it won’t happen. Obviously a talented player.

didn't get to watch the Juve game, the ICC the cup not being shown in SA unfortunately. but just based on last season Poch did not trust him. I think given regular minutes he will improve, training weekly will not do it. he actually should have gone out on loan for the whole of last season.

When they mentioned him in the commentary yesterday,at first I thought it was a poor attempt at Ndombele's forename!
I keep thinking of the Lenny Henry sketch. Tanganga my friend. Ahaaaa ahaaaa ahaaaa!

In fact I keep doing it every time he’s on screen. My son thinks I’m a fruit loop

Very impressive preseason, there was a point in the last match I was watching him closely, he was shouting orders to hold the line, then antipicated perfectly a break down Sanchez's side and timed coming across perfectly to kill the attack. High hopes for this guy...
