Zidane was always a shitbag. You only have to look at his sending off in the World Cup final to see that. Cracking player on his day, but still a complete toss pot.

He didn’t always hate Bale. Zidane was the one mouthing off to the press about how much Madrid wanted Bale when we he was at Spurs. He was their ‘advisor’ to the president at the time and was more than happy to talk about Bale even though he was with us.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....013/may/24/zinedine-zidane-messi-ronaldo-bale

It does make you wonder though. He sees him day in day out in training and you wonder why someone who loved someone that much now badly wants rid of him.

However, in conclusion, serves him right. What goes around comes around (sometimes). If Bale staying there as long as possible is causing Madrid problems getting other players in, then good. That’s what you get for tapping up.

How do people find a way to virtue signal about this? The only reason to move over there as a footballer is for money.

Bale is hardly a culture vulture, is he? He thinks buenos dias is one of his Madrid teammates.

He’s always having a good day.

Jesus H. Christ. Can you imagine how many goals he'd score per season in the Chinese Super League! I hope Barnett's sorted out bonuses on goals scored in addition to his £1m a week. Wouldn't want his family to run out of money within the next century or two.

Given that almost all of SC were (not that long ago) in agreement that only two or three clubs could afford to do the deal I think it's safe to assume clubs aren't exactly beating a path to Madrid's door with offers. It's very likely that there aren't that many options right now and as far as I'm aware, the first hurdle to overcome, before Bale even gets to nod or shake his head at any offer, is that Madrid must accept one.

So IMO it's not a case at all of Bale turning down X, Y or Z (and remember, according to SC, they were the only clubs who could afford him) you have to wonder if there's actually been any vaguely acceptable offers made at all from the clubs who previously were written off as candidates by a lot of people on SC. I don't understand how we get from only three clubs can afford him to where we are now, people giving him stick for potentially going somewhere, when it's almost universally agreed that options are very limited.

It's still relatively early in the Spanish transfer window and there's still a lot of stuff to be played out but if, at the end of the day, an offer from China is all that's on the table, what's he to do? Stay at Madrid and effectively write off the twilight of his career or go to China and effectively write of the twilight of his career. Either choice will have people saying words like 'greed' or 'happy to play golf', so he can't win because he was supposed to have magically accepted an offer that wasn't there. And it's all stuff from us, who know absolutely nothing about how it all goes down, the ins and outs, the whole thing.

And before people say he should lower his demands........Why? That is something you do, if you do it at all, right at the last knockings of a transfer window, why would you do it with weeks to go? He's playing poker with Madrid and he holds a lot of the cards, he doesn't have to do anything on the hurry up even though that might disappoint a few people :D

It doesn't help that different countries have different transfer windows. The Chinese transfer window closes at the end of this month so there's going to be more urgency from there now. Our window closes after their one, but before some of the other European countries.

I hear there is problems with the new Fu Man Chu movie due to racial stereotyping. With that haircut he’ll fit into that film really well. Or is that stereotyping in itself? :cautious::cautious:

Zidane doesn't like Bale for the "style" he wishes RM to play. I think there was a bit of a falling out over that and I guess siilar to Poch, if you upset the manager, it's curtains.

Zidane also only come back on the proviso that GB would be sold.

Well his previous “style” seemed to be “pass it to Ronaldo” I’m guessing the new “style” will be “pass it to Hazard”

I hope he fails spectacularly this time round. Bald headed shit pigeon.

Sorry if this has already been discussed on here - but is Bale a bit of a diva now?
IF he came back to Spurs would he actually fit in with the team or would he disrupt the family mentality Poch has created.

A part of me thinks he just needs to be shown some love. If he heard 'Baaaaaaaale' all around the new stadium, I reckon he'd turn it on, big time!

Im probably wrong but I cant see Bale going to China
He couldnt learn Spanish in over six years so has got no chance of learning Chinese
In Spain or England there are great golf courses they are few and far between in China and who would he play with?In Spain he could ship his mates and family over n two hours to spend the weekend with hima nd his kids cant do that in China
Massive climate and diet differences gets freezing cold in winter.
Not a great environment to bring up young children
The difference between 600000 and 1 million a week after tax is not the be all and end all as he doesnt need the money anyway.
Would be far better to stick two fingers up at ZZ and tell him that he will sit on his bum until RM compensate him to make it worth his while to join a club of his choice which I suspect will be in England .

Whilst I agree he may not learn Chinese, as it's a bloody hard language to learn, it is pretty well documented that Bale DID learn Spanish and does use it in interviews. I think we need to be careful to not use this lazy trope.

So I've read that Gareths Adidas contract runs to 2020.
I propose to nike to sponsor the NWHL and at the same time sign Gareth up as a top end sponsor, unveiling both at the same time, plus helping the transfer to us along at the same time.

No new striker/re-sign llorente needed, semi promote Parrott, use son, Lucas and Bale to supplement/cover Kane .

Everybody's happy!

So I guess that Bale refusing to go is stopping Madrid from buying Pogba. Time for our Daniel to step in and do some kind of swap deal involving Eriksen.

If his agent is pissed off then he’ll want to screw Madrid. Only allow a move where they still pick up the bill.
