Too quiet on the Sessegnon front for me..makes me worry that we’re playing games and hurting our chances.
Has the feel of the Grealish saga for me. Wonder what the hold up is. Itk stated it was close but that was weeks ago. He doesn't improve our starting 11though so not too fussed.

I think the delay is just because we know Sess wants to join us and in the last weeks of the window Fulham will realise it's now or never to get a lot of money for him.

I hear you but 2 windows of no signings though wouldn't make us needing to sell first. We not exactly paying all the fees upfront. I suppose you right on the clearing out the deadwood per se.
I'm puzzled by our interest though. Where does he fit in? Son/Moura get in ahead of him any day. I don't see him as a LB for some reason too. He has the feel of a luxury signing.

I'm all for blooding him in at LB this season and giving him opportunities against bottom table opposition, but surely we aren't going into this season expecting Sess (or Davies for that matter) to be our starting LB.
