Half? Try a quarter.

No way we'd do that deal. Maybe as a way of fluffing up the Eriksen fee is the only way I'd see it happening.
The dream would be Bale and Ceballos on loan with an option.
Part of me thinks Levy would love to work something out with Barnett and bring him back, but I also trust the ITK we've had ruling this out emphatically.
Simply can't see this happening. It goes against everything levy and poch stand for. Levy is dedicated to financial prudence. Poch is a strong believer in team chemistry and commitment. Buying bale for $60m and paying him $200k a week, and then potentially upsetting the team's internal dynamics... just doesn't seem remotely probable.
The only way it works is a one or two year loan deal, and he gets paid as much as Kane. But even then, there are risks. When it comes to on and off-field alchemy, it's best to err on the side of sticking to what works. While there considerable is upside to having a player like Bale come into the squad (veteran experience, commercial opportunities, etc), it can be quickly offset by player unrest should he start to ruffle some feathers. That said, it could also work out. But then we go back to Levy -- he's not one to take big financial risks. And Bale is virtually swaddled in a red flag at this point in his career.
Pochettino, I agree with you. But it’s pretty clear Levy would be very keen to bring Bale back if it was at all financially feasible. I just doubt it will be.Simply can't see this happening. Coupled with the fact that Bale doesn't appear to have an abrasive personality. He comes across as fairly humble, somewhat quiet and not your typical superstar (a bit like Harry).I can't see how getting bale and putting him on 200k a week would upset the squad, after all it's not like he hasn't earnt it with the numerous trophies he's won with Madrid. It's only injuries that has stopped him being better than her currently is. I think if we were to get bale then it would tell the squad that we mean business.
