It's pretty clear that everything is now on hold pending a decision re Christian Eriksen.

I think that’s been pretty obvious since the first day we’ve been linked with him yet lots of people don’t want to believe it.

All I hope is we get ceballos as part of Eriksen leaving too.

This has got a while left to roll I suspect.

Yeah I was hoping otherwise but I do agree. The annoying thing was that I was celebrating the interest in Pobga hoping it would lead to Eriksen staying, whereas now I just want him gone ASAP so we can get our replacements in for as much of preseason as possible.

There were at least 2 ITKs who said that neither Ndombele or Lo Celso was dependent on Eriksen being sold, and so far they have been correct. The dynamics of every transfer is going to be different so it would be naïve to think because Ndombele's came through relatively smoothly, then the others would follow in kind.

When our ITKs go quiet for a while I always think it's a sure sign that something behind the scenes is getting close.

Largely because that's what I want to think.

yup, herc was adamant on this. it was other transfers then outside of the top 2 that would be on a sell to buy basis. am expecting glc sometime this week and ceballos to be part of any eriksen negotiation. reckon the olmo smoke is to push the ceballos bits along.

as said, just cos it's quiet, doesn't mean nothing is happening. no news, especially bad news, is encouraging. look at how fast spam's maxi lopez move fell apart for example.

Trix said big couple of days for the club, typically we don't hear anything when that sort of sentiment is thrown out because either A. nobody wants to fuck it up for the club or B. They're too busy to let people know on a forum.

Whilst we're talking bookies & odds I thought I'd add that I went to school with a kid called William hill, what's the odds on that :cautious:
Bill Hill? I bet the odds are less than Betty Way

Lo Celso and Ceballos maybe not dependent on Eriksen leaving as such, or for monetary reasons, more so about having players leave in order to keep the squad list down to the required number and also the home grown quota.

That fucking account and the ringpiece who run aren't remotely funny.

Why can't natural selection do its bit?
