Well he's wrong about this so there's one blotch on his record. I've seen plenty of AS, Marca, Sport journalists being heralded as really reliable, leading to me trusting their stories, but they've always ended up being inaccurate or badly wrong where Spurs are concerned - and regarding other transfers as well.

Or maybe Ceballos deal is off and we turned attention to him. Not happening was 5 days ago i think

Not happening seems pretty definitive and not something that would change quickly.

And besides, the club usually says 'no comment' when there is some truth in a story, whereas they've actively denied any interest.

Excellent thanks for this. Did your friend say this deal is benign reported over there or is it just the basic speculation we've seen on social media?

Well, if we aren't in for this lad, it certainly sounds as though we should be.
Let's hope that things do change.

Will be interesting if any of our Croatian fans can confirm if theres anything on this in their national media. Apparently there was nothing last time. Could just be Spanish journos picking up on Chinese whispers.

Maybe we are leaking info on this target to try and put pressure on Betis to accept our Lo Lo Celso offer.

I would be amazed if we are suddenly interested after the itk said differently. Probably someone putting this story out there to put pressure on Betis, or to say to Madrid we won’t be fucked over the possible eriksen swap

One of the most reliable media there i think(Sportke Novosti) now are copying reports from Spain. Exactly week ago their own reports said the United are interested in paying 40m euro, Olmo wants a Premier League move. But they didn't mention Tottenham

Yeah he was referring to the story about us signing him. Nothing about us not being interested.
