They probably won’t- that’s the worry; he is unattainable but we waste time chasing him in a package deal for Eriksen while Eriksen develops his taste for Madrid and really forces a move towards the end of the window, weakening our hand.

Not gonna lie I would be worried if we don't have two players in the CE position next season. Even though Ndombele adds to the creativity with his ability, the CE position for us is so vital, it decides whether we play well or not usually. If we had Lo Celso and Asensio/Ceballos I actually think we would challenge for the title providing we fix up the RB position

Losing Llorente without a stylistic replacement is madness in my opinion.

Just in case it comes out in the press. Balde’s people have been putting him about, and especially to us. But after he mis-lead us for his own purpose etc a couple seasons back. There is a bitter taste left in our mouth, and as of now there is zero interest. Things can change, I am aware of that. But would be flabbergasted if this one happened.

Got told that ‘our Daniel loves a good game of poker, when there is a ‘check’ before ‘check-mate’. Apparently we are in the driving seat, even with couple of targets that are wanted by our London rivals. Apparently they want to know our next move before they commit to another club. Happy days indeed ??

Now would be the time to get Asensio. While all of Madrid was poor last season, he particularly came in for some stick and probably deserved a lot of it, only scored 1 La Liga goal. I’m still a massive fan and think it would be an excellent buy low opportunity.

interesting to read this and how good it feels to see that we are now the leading team for players now.

I don't see Real letting Asensio go, they need that Spanish core and he's a proper talent...

Hopefully this isn't classed as asking ITK questions as the answer is probably in the comment but, who does this refer to? Keita Balde? That would be a good signing imo

I don't think the second paragraph applies to him.
All in all this backs up the previous ITK, Trix I think, that we are now a club that players and their agents see as a main destination rather than one to keep on the line if their first choice doesn't come off.

Asensio would be a dream signing, but i don’t personally see it happening. Always seems that Spanish players leave Madrid or Barca with great reluctance, and when they do they don’t tend to reproduce their best form.
