I'm not talking ITK being wrong, I know they get some wrong and some right. I asked about Willian because in terms of someone being that close to signing then going elsewhere, you don't really hear it much these days. As for ITK being right, igi has a pretty decent record I believe with announcements. I choose to stay calm and relaxed, because everything points to it being done or as close to as possible.

It has happened before. In 1963, we agreed a deal with Dundee to sign Ian Ure. In those days the actual signing of the contract was carried out at a press conference. Spurs brought Ure down from Dundee and put him up in a hotel. The press conference was arranged for 10am the following morning.

Arsenal found out where he was staying and hijacked the deal. The following day he signed for Arsenal.

There has been several similar scenarios over the years... and yes, igi is solid.

And to be fair you don't know that. We all know that it hasn't been announced yet, but that could be because it's not done, or it could be because we're waiting to announce it for some reason.

Madrid are not budging one bit. There have been numerous enquiries for him but the numbers just don't add up. No one is going to come close to the money needed imo, and as things stand he'll still be a Madrid player next season.
