Their chairman talking nonsense makes me think that Spurs and Juventus have come in for around 65-70 million and realistically he knows he needs to accept such an offer but is trying to get the fee raised and I reckon he's failing.

Firstly he came out with United and City are interested but I'd like to sell to Juve if they can match the offer. That's making me think that City/United were never involved and he was just trying to raise Juventus bid. Now he's trying to bait PSG to get involved. Just smacks of desperation to raise the fee to me. This is the sort of thing that Levy won't blink at in my opinion.

Agree. I can’t imagine Levy being remotely concerned by his posturing

Yesterday I put forward the clubs to you who were said to be interested but seeing him bring PSG up today has pretty much nailed on for me that City/United have not moved forward with any interest. Of course it's all my own opinion but it just seems so desperate to me, it's making me quite hopeful in actual fact.

A midfield of Sissoko and Ndombele would genuinely be terrifying for opposition players. I've said it before, if Poch wants him, try to make it happen. We need to invest and take the step up like Liverpool did last summer.

I watched him last night and was impressed with his passing in fact he is instantly comfortable when he gets the ball however I only saw him get one tackle in which is fair enough I guess if that wasn't necessary. Another thing it seems to me, is the way he carries himself when not on the ball and when the opposition have it, he seemed to meander and jog with very little quick movement, he lopes more than runs, now I am not saying he is lazy but he does seem to have a lazy gait about him and that may be something people will have to come to terms with when he comes to us as they may miss how much he still does.
Last night I watched another game (recorded) Lyon-Lille from 05.05.19 and I got the same impression. He looked the most passive, disinterested, unfit player on the pitch. It was shocking tbh considering we'd made a bid for him. At the end of the second half, he made three horrible errors that Wanyama or Dier would be slaughtered for. I will watch another couple of games to make a better opinion because that was massively disappointing. I don't trust short video clips at all His passing seems to be ok but he's not busy enough and influential like Dembele was and Sissoko is. He didn't tackle once and was easily passed by.

I can't claim to be an expert on French football but watching now Marseille - Lyon game, commentator just said that Ndombele has played much worse in the second half of this season than the first and worse than last season. So make up your own mind.
What is clear for me he does not look like a Spurs type of player now in his intensity.

The main criticism Ndombele receives is regarding his intensity, I have no doubt Poch can improve that.

Thats where I stand on it, the guy has all the tools you could ever need. Dembele wasn't the defensive beast he became when we first signed him either.

Once again I will state: Ndombele is not a defensive midfielder.

What do you think he is? And what are we buying him for? Can't imagine we need another uncertainty for 60-70 ml.

He's a box to box player. In double pivot he would play next to a defensive midfielder, some one who for 75% of the game will sit back with the CBs and just shield the defense.

We're buying him because since we sold Modric we haven't had a true CM who can consistently add to the attack.

On the basis of the last couple of games, I will have to wait and see for myself.

First report we've seen that claims he's excited by playing for us too - him buying into the project could be the deciding factor imo given that we seem to be going for it.

I've done some digging, and from what I can see, Telefoot were the first to report we were discussing the signing of Aurier with PSG. Other outlets had reported interest, but they were the first to say we'd entered discussions.
