I can’t believe we’ve decided scoring is pointless lately yet still 8 ahead of Arsenal on GD!! Luckily we only decide to lose by 1 when we can’t be arsed.

I think it's fair to say that since the Brighton win,we have looked so much better when we haven't been playing and we've sat back and watched Arsenal and Man Utd do the business....

Arsenal won't even beat Burnley let alone put 4 or more clear goals
Passed them.

The joy of arsenal being worse than us even with 5/6 key injuries and no player signings in an age

I’m relieved, but I won’t be able to celebrate properly until they fail to win the EL.

Oh my god, I've been out of circulation all day for a family BBQ for my brother's birthday, and I've only just now seen the results this afternoon. GET THE FUCKING FUCK IN, BRIGHTON! Literally the season is made for me now: we will finish above Arsenal, we will finish in the top 4, and any further progress we make in the CL would be a glorious bonus. It's been touch and go right until the end, but this season will now go down in the Scat Histories as a definite Success. (And possibly, if the gods are kind, the greatest season in our entire history.)

Happy as fucking Larry! :woot:

Couldn't pick a Man of the Match v Bournemouth because nobody deserved it, but Spurs player of the week goes to Chris Hughton by a country mile.

To be fair we should be top 4. I still think we're the 3rd best team so hopefully we get that position tied up still. We were title challengers until the end of the year. We just ran out of steam in the 2nd half of the season and we're running on fumes now. A lot of players at the world cup and not enough depth to cover them has nearly cost us dear. Thankfully we did so well in the first half of the season that it allowed us to fall apart and still qualify for CL.

I do think Arsenal and Utd will improve this summer and be better pushed for top 4. Chelsea will struggle without Hazard and a transfer ban. If we get the summer right we should push on and challenge for the title though. So hopefully we wont be in a race for top 4 but a race for the title next season. We need to have the depth to pull away next time and leave the other 3 in our shadows, just as Liverpool and City have pulled so far away from all of us this season.

Lot of focus on Arsenal just now, but Man U blew it today as well. Astonishing.

Does anyone have the points tallies for the last few weeks for Spurs, Arse, CFC & MU? Must be jaw-droppingly bad. I suspect pretty much unique in league history for 4 of the top teams to perform so badly in the run-in all at the same time.

Lol Houghton's face. Dying to smile/laugh

They'll probably win it, Chelsea securing cl means arsenal will have the edge

But more importantly we got it, because obviously big rebuild needed and Europa footy would make attracting players harder
