What’s funny about that? Clubs have already been buying players for the summer. Chelsea agreed one in January ffs. Bayern have at least two top class players agreed. Deals can be done. If we get a win tomorrow we should be greasing agents the very next day imo.

When (if) we start to do this it'll be a hugely positive sign that Levy's nostrils have twitched and he's finally smelling the coffee. The way transfers are done is evolving, the last minute deadline day stuff is slowly being taken out of the equation and replaced by getting it done early, sometimes up to a season in advance. If Tyrion Lannister started to do this it'd be hugely encouraging

Evolving teams was one of Fergie's greatest strengths. He would jettison players before they were totally over the hill and was rarely wrong with who he got rid of and replaced them with (Stam being an exception).

That makes sense, but would be a shame with his excellent form this season, considering we had to sit through 2 seasons of crap first.
It’s a valid point but I believe Moussa is needed next season. He keeps this form going and he’ll start every game next term no matter who we might bring in.
