I was actually thinking they look alike......Sanchez for me had a good game compared to some of our “star players”

He definitely didn't. Lost Antonio for the goal. Almost cost us another by losing him again and only his pace saved him. Dreadful on the ball too.

Don't understand how so many rate him so highly

We had pace with Son and Moura.

What we lack is some fucking brains and ability in our midfield, and better and quicker movement of the ball.

Hardly showed it.

Some at full back would do. Through the middle they were all so ponderous on the ball. Moving the ball forward was so slow. And more often than not sideways and backwards.

Frustrating, hopefully we can stay in the tie mid week and get players back for the final two games. We need Winks, Sissoko and Aurier back big time.

If we are gonna lose, which which shouldn't after the City game, I'd have rather we lost to Brighton than hear for ever more Wet Spam going on about how they were the first club to win in our new home

Realistically the top 4 is still in our hands. Today was a terrible performance but again, we are so thin that it was coming. Those complaining about the subs - what the hell is Poch supposed to do? Maybe Moura should have stayed on for Dele instead but we have no midfielders. Down 1-0, we ended the game playing Wanyama and Dier in midfield. Poch's bench is beyond thin and poor. All goes back to some bad luck with injuries but more so with the lack of any spending/transfers.

Understand the anger but we are truly stretched on many levels and have a CL SF coming up. Dropping points is inevitable. The bigger picture remains the same for us, Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal - fighting till the last day for Top 4.

Typical to lose against the bloody Pikeys, they always seem to ruin our good runs and it ahd to bethem to break our new home record. Second half, we were pathetic. Dele shoudl have gone off well before he was subbed.

I thought these type of days were over but hopefully this is just a learning curve for being in uncharted territory as we are trying to deal with a CL semi final on Tuesday. Pissed off atm but hopefully forget all about this match at the end of the season.

First away win for the disgusting spammers in 2019.....

And it must be us when when we are trying to build the home ground as a fortress..

Ffs, are we really underestimating them so much?

1 of 3 done in fucking up top 4.

Spam deserved that today. We're just too ponderous and lack real quality in the final 3rd.

What a surprise.
You can't go into a game like that and play players out of position and rest Verts.
Subs were absolutely pathetic. That cost us.
Alli was dreadful.
Jansen and Llorente together! Christ alive.

Not surprising considering the team we had out and the state of our bench.

Another game that highlights just how unforgivable it was not to strengthen the squad in the summer. That failure will haunt the club for a long time if we end up missing out on top 4 now.
