BIG game tomorrow. We need to keep our 100% win record AND no goals conceeded going for as long as possible. It's essential to make NWHL as fortress!

2 wins this week and i think we should be back in the cl next season! Then we can fully concentrate on cl semi.

I think we all expected to probably lose to the Sheik Mansour team, so to have our rivals only manage to make up one point on us between the three of them is a great outcome. Win tomorrow and that’s one foot in the CL next year as far as I’m concerned. At this rate the Everton game could be a dead rubber.

Looking at the various fixtures I think two more wins should be enough.

While Everton May be a dead rubber for too 4, it’s crucial we do finish 3rd - no CL qualifying and easier to plan for next season when attracting players. The qualifiers always scare me after Young Boys gave us a heart attack!

Qualifiers are a thing of the past for the European leagues with the best coefficients. 4th place in the prem equals a direct route into the CL group stages buddy.

Still want 3rd though ideally.

I want to finish 3rd to keep up the level of consistency we've shown since Poch took charge.

5th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd. Man City aside we are the most consistent team in the league.

Just need Levy to get the finger out this summer to get that final push.

I agree that they shouldn't roll over, but I think there's a difference between playing defensively, going long, being a little clever time wasting and then what burnley do which tonight was 6 players faking injuries inside of 10 minutes. I'm all for teams doing the best with what they're given but I don't want to see teams laying on the floor faking injuries.

The Burnley keeper was booked after 31 minutes last night. Imagine if Joe Hart had been booked after two hat amount of time when we played them, the game would have been a much more enjoyable watch. The ref let him get away with time wasting all game, they always seem to let the keepers off. We won it in a satisfying way though in the end, I wouldn’t change that.

Basically if the Brighton goalie time wastes badly tonight, I bet the ref doesn’t book him until well into the second half. The officials are so inconsistent.

In theory it should be a very simple equation come the weekend.

Spurs beat west ham

United beat Chelsea

And it’s done ?

assuming we beat BHA tonight, which almost everyone believes we will as almost everyone believed the goons would beat palace and chelsea would beat burnley.

football has gone nuts in the last week - cannot take anything for granted. BHA will put 10 men behind the ball and defend deep which leaves less space for Sonny and Lucas to attack.

going to be a hard game, unless we score early.

Didn't know the result until this morning, the start of another lovely day. The report this morning said Hazard passed a late fitness test and I thought I bet he did, they'd strap him up and send him on with a broken leg at the moment. Funny reading Chelsea moaning about time wasting apparently Burnley players going down breaking up the game and killing Chelsea's momentum, it's like Dyche showed them old videos of Drogba in his prime.

Assuming we win comfortably, I would be quite happy for Brighton to score a consolation goal tonight. I don't want West Ham to have the added incentive to be the first team to score in the new stadium

Let's be honest, if we beat West Ham and they score a goal and their fans proceed to boast how they're the first team to score against us there despite losing then it shows just how pathetic they are and we can just laugh at them.

I caught a bit of talk shite last night and Goldstein claimed that his Spurs supporting mate had said that finishing in the top 4 is more important than the CL semis.

Does he even understand what complete bollocks he is saying IF of course it was true in the first place....

Biggest game tonight since City...

I’d rather we maintain our clean sheet record at the new stadium until the end of the season, at the least and I think that we are very capable of doing that, especially as long as our mainstays in our defence stay fit.

Win tonight and smash west ham, don't even give them a sniff of scoring a goal, let alone this fallacy they're all banging on about being the 1st team to win there. I couldn't take that.

I heard that last night. I think what he meant was before the CL game, would you have preferred a win in the PL game than in the CL game? which was a valid question but in the context of our remaining games, the fact we were in third etc - id have taken how it panned out any day.

I posted on here last week that now we are in the semi finals winning the CL should be our priority which did not get universal support among SC posters so I wouldn't be surprised if his mate was ambiguous on the matter, that said Goldstein is a bit of an arse who always tries to wind up Spurs fans and I don't believe it the way he is spinning it.

I personally think we need to treat every game importantly, especially tonight as it's still a week ahead of Ajax. A win tonight will be a huge step towards top 4 so we need to be as full strength as possible IMHO. Win both PL games this week and there's a lot less pressure on the Bournemouth game between the CL semis too.

We know Son can play in both as he's suspended for the first game. We can still rotate FBs and potentially now DM with Dier and Wanyama back. Hopefully Lamela will be back tonight or for Saturday to add some depth too.

Some of our best stuff comes in tight schedules when we are winning, see the Xmas period most seasons under Poch for example. Hopefully we can put together 3 quick-fire wins in the new stadium!
