It annoys people whenever I say it, but I still think it’s true - there is no way we start next season with only a new player and KWP at right back.

Depends on how serious Levy is on giving Poch the right tools this summer. If he keeps asking ridiculous fees like £40m for Trippier then no chance. He’s got to realise the days when he could shift shite to desperate PL clubs has gone. The TV money means they can sign good foreign players where they couldn’t before.

depends for me. If he is PL proven and not injury prone I think Foyth/Dier can cover as 3rd.

And Grealish is quite the leader as well, he is dragging Villa potentially up into the Premier league and would add some Dele competition. In our team he would flourish massively.

Not one of these is out of our league.

We haven't spent any money recently and with the unexpected extra cash from the Champions League, on top of decent money we can get on selling 4 or 5 players i don't see why this isn't achievable.

The best thing about this is they all have experience with the league.

Quite interesting to hear your points about these not making us stronger and whey you consider them as only OK. I'm interested in your opinion?

Because while I like KWP, I don’t get the sense that MoPo thinks he is an upgrade over Aurier or Trippier, and we won’t downgrade our second choice RB. League experience is one thing but when players change teams, coaches, systems, they often struggle for weeks or months to find form, so your second choice needs to be rock solid and I think Poch considers KWP risky.

Also, if we did sign Bissaka, a player of the same age and experience as KWP, to a giant contract as the starter, then Kyle should leave for his own sake. It’s one thing to be the young guy getting minutes to support a veteran player, and another to be sat on the bench as second-choice while the others from your development year are playing and improving more than you.

In short, I think selling Trippier and Aurier to bring in Bissaka with KWP is a Football Manager move, not a realistic one, and I will personally be stunned if it happens. Not mad, but very surprised.

I think Zaha is overpriced, but even so, this team does look very balanced and dangerous, even if Eriksen still goes.

Get real. No way would City strengthen us. They can afford to sell him abroad for cheaper.

Come on you can't believe that. I love Sane, but something must be seriously wrong with his attitude considering Pep doesn't start him and being dropped or Germany last summer.

Exactly, i think we would find some real balance, I would even argue that Sissoko should start and Winks or Tielemans partners him considering the season he has had. The options those four signings would bring us would be way better than what we have now.

With Wan-Bissaka’s toughness, you no longer need Sissoko’s covering the right side as much like this season. Winks and Tielemans would be more elusive and set a real tempo. Tielemans releasing the pace of the wingers early, or picking out Kane dropping into his No 10 role, spinning and playing them through.

I don’t think so. It’s just Sterling prefers to play from the left and is having the season of his life and Bernardo Silva on the right could end up being their best player.

I think you are undervaluing Sissoko and what he has done this year. Yes he has covered trippier, but that's in addition to the driving, the combating, the breaking lines very quickly, which is very valuable. He breaks lines faster than dembele did and creates different opportunities because of this. Without moussa we are not in the champions league semi final, in fact I would say without him we don't get out the group.

The players love him too, which is underestimated. Let's not push him aside so fast. Yes I think tielemans would be a good signing, but he has to earn his place. Moussa has been a monster this year, he deserves more.
