I've just had a look at the footage that apparently shows the ball hitting Nando's arm and I can't see it. It comes close but it looks like it bounces off the lower half of his body and avoids his arm completely.

Ok so I’ve had a completely unrested night, and I’m still absolutely buzzing. What a game, I’ve never seen anything that comes close to the excitement, heartbreak and sheer unadulterated joy before. Nothing could replicate this feeling.

We were essentially under siege for the entire game, clinging on to a sliver of an advantage. The wait for Nando’s goal to be confirmed was excruciating, so much tension, so much emotion. Sterling’s goal in stoppage time was like a knife to the heart that was then twisted, if only we had held on for just another couple of minutes... then it was disallowed, I don’t think I’ve ever felt relief or joy like it, to have a soul crushing defeat suddenly flipped on its head in the dying moments. It was truly amazing.

I think most on here know my opinions on City and what a vile club they are so I won’t go too much into that, long story short, I think they are everything that’s wrong with the game. But when you have villains like that, it’s all the more sweet when you defeat them.

I’m certain the ‘skin ripple’ on his arm is coming from his arm impacting his hip, not the ball.

Bro I feel like I just heard the final whilst blow, haven't calmed down one bit since then. What an incredible time to be a Spurs supporter.

Woke up still elated.

Just a shame Son is suspended for semi 1st leg. Our top 2 goal scorers (Kane, Son) won't be available for that game. Just gotta hope Llorente and Moura can do the business. Really need our strongest midfield - Winks/Sissoko - fit asap.

They would put us under more pressure away and will probably need an outlet, at home we will be more in control of the match and could probably get away with Llorente and Lucas

I’m actually glad we are at home first though regardless. We’ve been at home first in both the previous rounds so know how to approach the ties mentally. Sure the players will have never experienced pressure like it before but playing at home in the first game with our whole stadium behind them will give them some freedom if you ask me. They’ll be roused.

Objectively speaking, truly, Llorente's goal was not handball under present rules, regardless of camera angle. He deliberately and willingly tries to keep his arm close to his body and away from the ball, and still the ball hits him anyway. That's intent, he intended to not touch the ball with his arm, yet it happened. -> No handball.

Agreed. And do we just ignore Laporte pushing him?

It’s such a plus having it in our armour, and to think there were some fans who didn’t want us to move in this season and wait until next year. ???

'Sports Health and Bodybuilder Illustrated' reporting
that VAR is now the prime cause of early death
of Spurs fans.

Hope relegated to second place.

I was just about to say this. I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned.

It's really simple for me. The ball touches Llorente's arm then, almost simultaneously, bounces off his hip and into the net.

His arms are down by his side but the key element for me is Laporte pushing him mid air.. In fact Llorente doest brilliantly to keep his arms down.

Just stunned that's it being analysed without the contribution of Laporte... It's absolutely significant.

Even the ex pros didn't mention it, only Glen Hoddle.

Just logged on to Skybet and saw my balance. It was only then I remembered that I had £10 on Son to score from outside the area at 16/1 and a tenner on Son and Sterling to both have 2 shots on target at 16/1 as well as a fiver on Both Teams to Score, 40+ booking points and Spurs to qualify at 9/1. The only bet I did that didn't come in was Eriksen to score from outside the area. The **** :D
