Happy to see Stones, Fernandinho, and Sane on the bench for them. I’m sure that Sane will make an appearance, but Stones is more agile and mobile than Kompany and Fernandinho more physical than Gundogan.

Will have to combat De Bruyne, B Silva, and Mendy this time around though. It’s going to be very tough. I can imagine we’ll try to stay compact, press when we can, and counter at speed.

All of citys subs besides Stones, Otamendi & the keeper would be starters for us tonight. Says it all, really.

surprisingly calm at this moment, in huge contrast to this morning. there comes point when you have to stop being nervous and just come out fighting. that's how I feel

There should be space between their back four and front five ;) for Eriksen to utilise if he turns up. Expecting some goals tonight

This is where I'm at as well. As long as we don't give it away by not actually turning up, a Trippier-level mistake or a massive clanger from the referee I will be OK with any result. Just look at the starting elevens ffs. We're relying on a crippled Wanyama to turn down Silva, de Bruyne and Gundogan.

Actually, we’re relying on Wanyama to close down passing lanes as Sissoko shuts down Silva, de Bruyne, and Gundogan on his own.

Because Sissoko is a f’ing titan.

Our eleven going out against a team assembled by a murderous and illegal gulf state:

Happy with the lineup, just hope we don't get robbed by a bad decision or a dodgy player error tonight! I think I could accept defeat if they outplay us but only if we give it a go!

You have to fancy the speed we have up front. Kompany, while smart doesn't have an afterburner. Walker does but he'll get caught up on occasion. We need a tight, organized, compact defense and win on the break. I'm fascinated to see who ends up dealing with deBruyne the most. That could be the pivotal match up.

With available players I’m happy with that lineup. Glad Poch is going for it. I fancy us to score. Just need to stop them scoring which is no easy task.
