That’s not the perception of Spurs in France I’m afraid.
Doesn't having Lloris as Spurs captain have any knock-on effect regarding the positive perception of Spurs in France? In a similar way that Sonny gives us a higher profile in S. Korea and Asia?

You cannot compare those 2 cases.
Son is the only high profile player from South Korea right now and most probably their best ever player - and certainly their biggest star since Cha Bum-kun.
France have high profiles players like Varane, Mbappe, Pogba, Griezemann of this generation alone, not to talk about previous generations. Besides, goalies in general are not as high profile as outfield players.

Given that Utd desperately need a RB, I can't see us getting AWB. However I've watched Norwich a few times this season and Max Aarons has been brilliant for them, obviously not guaranteed that he'd be able to make the step up and with Norwich almost certain to be promoted they'd be wanting a fair whack to let him leave, I wonder if Trippier going the other way would work.

Aarons looks a lot to KWP imo. I would only go for AWB, unless we're selling both Trippier and Aurier. In that case, go for Aarons

I think both players will end up going for less than those figures quoted (probably closer to £50m). Pepe looks fantastic but I'd be stunned if anyone went that high, would be a big gamble IMHO. The Ndombele article pretty much hints that that was a January 'hands off' price that may come down in future.

If Ndombele goes for more than Frenkie De Jong (75m EUR) that wouldn't sit right.

Time will tell but Aulas is a tough negotiator, in the same class as Levy...

Why? He is a London lad (I assume??) and We are more likely to be playing champions league football next season as it stands ?.
I have doubts we will pay the required fee and wages but if it’s a straight choice between us and united for AWB I wouldn’t completely rule us out

I think this idea is somewhat overstated.

All players at some point in their careers want to take a step up and sign for a big club; to test their ability with the very best in the game.

One way is to gradually develop and move from club to club, working their way up the footballing 'food-chain', so to speak.

But others, like Dele, will take their chance when a big club comes knocking, even if they're not guaranteed a starting place in the first XI.

It's easy to see why; they'll be getting paid a lot more, playing and learning with very good players, enjoying better facilities, playing in the Champions League, but most of all training week-in, week-out, under the nose of a manager who could promote you into a regular starting place. Essentially, if you have the talent and the coach spots it, then you won't need to make further transfer moves to get to a CL club, because you're already at one.

Basically, there are different ways to progress in a career and I'm sure there are plenty of young players who would sign for us even if that meant starting in a 'squad' role.

I agree that this excuse is overused, but the gist of what I was trying to say is that there are so many factors when it comes to transfers, yet our go to complaint is with the club and owners when it just simply isn't the case sometimes.

There will be players that will come and slowly integrate into the team like Lucas, whilst others like Maddison and Brooks will want first team action. Different strokes and all that.

Oh I know. However he almost sold Fekir for £45m last summer, and their superstar Lacazette for similar the prior year, so to ask for £70m plus for Ndombele seems a big jump. That article definitely felt like a 'hands off in January' price.

Pretty sure they wouldn't sell to us, but Mason Mount would be even better than Brooks and Grealish imo
He would flourish under Poch

I think Grealish can play as either a deep CM or more advanced, he’s got the attributes to do both. Maybe the only question mark would be defensively as a deeper CM but I would still say he’s similar to what winks is like defensively and personally think he’s got more ability when he carries the ball up from deep..
