Err.... The only thing I think the Wembley is better than the new stadium is probably the escalator. I was in the level 5 in the man city game. Lifts are available but I guess they should serve the one who really needs them first.

Breakfast pies and pizza's tomorrow folks.
I envision a pizza with a nice runny fried egg and sliced sausages on. Nomnomnom. I had the lamb pizza on Tuesday and it was the utter bees knees.

I was really hoping there is somewhere in the ground where I could get smashed avocado on toast to go with my pint on Neck Oil. I would then like to take it to my seat in the middle of the south stand and eat it in peace between 12.30 and 14.15, so if anyone else has booked at the same time could they please oblige and sit down and keep quiet

Does anyone know if the lifts available for everyone? Or just those of old age, disabilities, or on crutches etc?

My other half had a serious knee injury not too long ago and whilst she can manage the stairs to level 5, I wonder if we could get the lift? I’m sure people would look at us as lazy buggers as her injury is not visible, but it would be worth it to avoid her being in pain!

Oh the mirth at Charlton away (so a few years ago) when a geeze was standing up in his smart leather jacket and refusing to sit down, when everyone else was, despite the protests from those behind. Turned around just in time to see a half eaten bag of chips fly through the air and hit him fairly and squarely between the base of his immaculately presented hairline and the middle of his back. They must have travelled 10 rows! He sat down after that. Guess he was ‘a salted’ (and vinegared) too?

I’m not condoning this by the way as it’s a terrible waste of chips!

*Charlton seats are steep for reference.

Stumbled across a video last night inside the new Liverpool stand. And the signage went into an area that looked like it was hospitality called carlsberg dug out. As they are walking around I’m thinking this can’t be a hospitality area it looks worse than our general admission. So checked on their site and it is indeed a hospitality area lol. So got me curious and I checked a few others United and West Ham. I’d heard some bad stuff about West Ham hospitality areas, but tbh they look pretty decent. Not as good as ours but still high quality. Then checked United and it’s pretty awful. Their boxes are literally just a table with some chairs. It really does highlight the massive north south divide like another world as far as corporate goes.

They asked everyone to sit down, policy was to get everyone seated from the back row working down. I asked how that would work, if I sat down I wouldn’t be able to see past the person standing in front of me.
I was then told by the steward not to worry and ignore him.
That was what it seemed like at the time, and shows the stewards haven't got a clue.

Wasn’t able to sell my ticket on the exchange. Surprised? Not really as it’s a lunchtime kick off against a pony opponent live on TV but clearly there aren’t that many fans still desperate to go and see us play in the new stadium?!

I'm sure they'd let you use them if you told them that she's got a knee injury.

There's actually plenty of room outside along the east stand to open some food stands. If they set up a fancy food market serving various street food along there it could help reduce the crowds at the bars inside. Not everyone can use the market place after all.

TBF that is what a box is, table and chairs with room.seevice pretty much. Old WHL was the same, and even when you fancy it all up its still the same.

I think it's more to do with the fact they are older stadiums. Firstly, old stadiums don't need to make the lower corporate packages that good, or certainly not the space because the normal experience is not as high as in new builds.

Secondly, it's pretty hard to just redesign a space for corporate stuff. Again look at whl.

Lastly, the corporate seats in the carsburg dogout (which I don't think looks too bas are, has a stylistic Wearhouse feel though) probably the same price as the more expensive non-compete seats in WHL. London is expensive so there is a difference there. But I don't fully buy the north south thing in this case because there is rich people who are very particular everywhere.

I think they are available to anyone. You just may need to push your case if they won't let you. Also get there early as they get very busy so if early the stewards are under less pressure
