Alli had a scan on Wednesday amid concerns he suffered a suspected broken hand in Tuesday's win over Manchester City. But even if Alli is confirmed to have sustained a broken hand, Tottenham medics will explore ways of ensuring the star man can remain available for their run-in.

We seriously have to be the unluckiest team in England. We don't just get injuries to squad players, no - it has to be all the key players! I mean, can you imagine how Liverpool would cope without their best players for large parts of the season.

That's not luck, but bodies overused . None of our England and Belgian contingent has had proper rest.

Ali breaking his hand is not about rest. Kane landing awkwardly and damaging his ankle is not about rest (IMO of course)

Three hamstring injuries and possibly a broken hand for Alli this season. The hamstring stuff is one thing, but adding this is just in the realms of «of course. Of course that fucking happened. Jesus.»

Yes true, fatigue normally means hamstring, Achilles, groin and back strains. Not broken hands and twisted ankles. We are fecking cursed I tells ya, cursed!

We mustn't feel sorry for ourselves. We just need to get on with it. Remember a mere 3 months ago, we were without Deli and Harry at the same time, and won just about everything in sight. Everyone else must step up. It will only be another 6 Premier League games, and God willing, 4 more Champions League games.

Fatigue also affects the brain. So a tired person will be a split second late in reaction to his changing environment. So a tired Kane would want to compensate for being slightly late to the ball by a desperate lunge, and a tired Delli might not react in time to keep his hand out of harm's way when he fell.

That was then, this is now. We are obviously disadvantaged without these two ‘big game’ performers at the business end of the season. I’m gutted, but still hoping that we can manage to Qualify for the Champs League.
