I’m hoping that’s just a precaution before a scan. No idea what he did but looked like wrist or hand. So worst case hopefully one of those light weight casts. At least he’s smiling.

It was after a fall, so he probably put his hand down to soften his fall & his wrist have way.

I'm gonna guess he's broken/fractured his Scaphoid. Hopefully I'm right. 6 weeks for it to fully heal but he'll be fine to play in a lightweight cast (or wrist brace) after a couple of painful days.

Didn't son fuck up his arm a couple of years back? Anyone remember how long he was out for?

When we qualify for the top 4 it's going to be an incredible achievement considering we've been the walking wounded this season

I'm sure doctors won't agree but surely Dele would be happy to risk hurting it again to help reach a CL semi final. It's only a wrist, not a knee or muscle

Pretty sure he broke his arm and missed a couple of months which coincided with pre season. I suspect (and hope) Dele's injury isn't quite as severe by his reaction. As somebody who broke their wrist I can tell you that he wouldn't be applauding the crowd using his bad arm to clap against as he left the pitch. I remember wanting to vomit every time we went over a speed bump on the way to A+E.

Bloody mollycoddled milk sops.
In the 1970's I played a whole season
in the East Riding Amateur League
with a plastered broken wrist.
Got married in plaster and couldn't cut the cake.
Had it re-broken twice due to triage gaffes
(and driving when advised not to) .

And had enough change out of 3p
to get fish and chips
after going to the flics.

There plenty of instances of players with broken wrists playing with a lightweight plastic cast ........ on their wrists!!

Let's get behind dele. Sing his song and support him way more. We need him now. The neutrals on the sunday supplement said that the "WE'VE GOT DELE" song at the lane was deafening when its rolling round the new lane. We need him now. Let's do it.

yeah, I could hear it thundering through my TV
