Real Madrid fans are possibly the worst in football. The spoiled pricks don’t appreciate talent at all. 92% voting for Bale to leave. I know we’ve got our share of dickheads but Christ!

Not really surprising. He's on €700k a week and has completed one 90 minutes in 2 seasons.

From what I recall, when Zidane knew Ronaldo was off, he wanted Hazard as his replacement and Real said no. You’d think that has changed for him to go back.

He was also really keen on Mane and absolutely loves Isco.

Basically, Eriksen stays.

According to Balague, Zidane was behind the pursuit of Eriksen, as well as Hazard. That's why the Eriksen thing has gone quiet since Zidane left.

I don't think too much of a rebuild is needed at Madrid.

Vallejo, Odriozola, Reguilon, Valverde, Asensio, Ceballos, Brahim, Vinicius, and Rodrygo is a good nucleus of talent to have (they also have three or four out on loan).

Courtois, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Benzema is still a good core group of established players. In the short term they are definitely missing a direct attacker who will score goals.

The main thing Zidane has to address is the mentality, they've slipped off a bit particularly in the defensive aspect. He'll do well to match his previous achievements, but it isn't a herculean task in my opinion.

Can't see Bale staying....premiership return perhaps ??

More like China. If rumours are true and he’s on 350-400k after tax. No one would want to touch him.

Still a great player on his day. But he’s out far too much to justify that salary.

If Poch had gone to Real Madrid last summer that would have been him sacked by now. It’s a poison chalice.

Bit surprised Zidanes gone back. But he must of had assurances about certain players coming in, and going out.

Not for Zidane....3 consecutive CL titles then he sees the clouds gathering and walks.....waits ten months until they are knocking on his door and goes back undoubtedly on his terms and conditions......sweet !

Not sure Bale's wages make any difference as nobody is going to match them so if he goes it will be for lower wages. Perhaps a three year loan with RM topping up.

As I've said countless times. Madrid own almost all of his image rights, which will amount to a bloody big amount.

If he leaves Madrid & we want him, all we have to do is give him full control of his image rights & that would make up for any shortfall in what we can offer in wages.

Exactly the way I see it too. Zidane's played an absolute blinder here. He saw what was happening at the club, he probably knew there was a huge chance of Ronaldo leaving without signing a big name to replace him, so he left on the highest high possible. Now he returns with promises of a massive transfer budget and far lower expectations than he would've had had he stayed on. Couldn't have worked out better.

Biggest bunch of ****s going.

The way they treat their players really is disgraceful.

Fans are biggest bunch of brats going (and putting them above Liverpool in that is really something!).

Bale is clearly not happy at Real Madrid and hasn't been for a while.
Zidane returning will be the end. They fell out previously and I see no reason for him to be kept by Zidane or for GB to want to stay. Things like the twitterati above only add to it.

The only question will be how much of a pay cut is he willing to accept/which rights can he negotiate with a future club, to allow for this to happen.

With Zidane returning though, I could see Daniel Levy trying another cheeky loan bid.
