We need to win all 5 of our home games in the new stadium ( Brighton, Palace, Huddersfield, West Ham and Everton ) and also win at Bournemouth . Assuming 0 points from Liverpool and City. That would give us 79 points which will probably be enough . But there is little margin for further screw ups .
But we know there will be more screw ups

Still clear bookie favourites they rarely get it wrong. I’d still say as an 8 game block ours are the easiest.

Spurs 8/15
Chelsea 6/5
United 7/5
Arsenal 6/4

Arsenal will have a run of 5 fixtures from mid April:

Everton a
Watford a
Palace h
Wolves a
Leicester a

Plus a possible Europa 1/4 final in there.

Debatable for me they have 5 tough away games. And they’ve only won 5 all season.

But now they have the confidernce at the belief, we don't. They are only 1 point behind us. A few games ago they were 10 points behind us. Some of teams they play has nothing to play for. I could see them winning 4 of those away games.

Chelsea, Arsenal, United and us will all drop unexpected points between now and the end of the season. It's the nature of each team's inconsistent form.

We still have an (admittedly slim) advantage. We will have a better picture of where we are when we get the dreaded Liverpool game out of the way. We should be looking for at least 16 points out of a possible 21 from there, and even that's being slightly pessimistic. I'm hopeful that will be enough for top 4.

Ultimately it's the team who have got themselves in to this mess, it's their job to grab themselves by the bollocks and drag us back out.

Don't be fooled by a win over United. They have played well in a number of big games this season and then taken their eyes off the ball for winnable games.

Assuming that finishing 5th and winning the CL still eliminates the 4th place team from the CL, my absolute hope is that we win the CL, finish 5th and Arsenal finish 4th. The only issue is I don’t think I could live through it waiting for it to happen. But fuck me that would be an astonishing scenario.

That aside, looking at the various remaining fixtures of the teams involved, I still have faith we’ll finish 4th.

You’d think reading here every team we came up against have there best day v us and play shit against our competitors... wrong, you just have to look to yesterday, Southampton were shit, i seen them play much better v competitors, it’s just we were shitter as has been the case way to many times this season, we’re simply not good enough and are getting what we deserve from the summer, we were very fortunate early in the season, even that 4 game winning run in January did we play well and deserve it?

Good set of results for us today. I think Arsenal will drop more points than united between now and the end of the season.

Still going to be out of our hands unless we can get results of some sort at City and Liverpool.

Could have gone much worse today. Chelsea win and Man U win would have been a fkin disaster. As it is things still look wobbly at Chelsea, pleased about that, and Man U have finally lost a game which is gonna make it interesting to see how they deal with that. Arsenal could have conceded a couple at least today.
I think our biggest problem is us.
We need to sort our shit out pronto.
I don't want to see another match with no verts or no toby or no Alli or no Son or Kwp or Foyth starting a game.
Its the business part of the season Poch.
STOP FKIN AROUND.
This is very much like the season we chased Leicester and collapsed the second we couldnt win it. It's like we still believed we were in it until recently and have now given up.
Glad we have a long break to get our shit together.
I'm a lot happier today than yesterday but still very very worried.

Let’s not forget that was man u’s first defeat in the league under solskjaer. Let’s see how they react to it.

We've massively run out of puff. 3 weeks off couldn't have come at a better time for us, but frustratingly, after that break we've got bloody Lolerpool away.
If Poch doesn't have a long look at himself and a very long chat with Levy in the summer about the need to freshen up the squad then I worry he's peaked.
