It's discussions like this that only flag up what a sorry state football is becoming. Through fear of losing identity to a corporate sponsor people are trying to drum up a name that will please the masses.

If you're Spurs, whatever the South stand will be officially called it will always be The Park Lane. End of conversation really.

Seeing as the signposts call them Paxton terrace and Park Lane square I'd say it's quite official anyway.

Let’s keep it the Park Lane. Then it will be one of those names that isn’t actually accurate, but has the history

To be fair White Hart Lane isn't in White Hart Lane so having the south stand a hundred odd yards away from where it used to be shouldn't make much difference.

If and hopefully it will have a special atmosphere I think it inevitably get compared to the yellow wall and the Kop. Therefore although always the Park Lane to us it will either get called “the white wall” or “Spurs Kop”. You can’t really officially name it, will likely come down to what commentators and media call it.

Be great if we could get something organised for the 1st game or do we thing some people may have it in hand. I’d guess the club will give out the poxy flags like the last game at WHL.

Let's keep it simple. I'd go with the Park Lane Old. Ideal. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Love the way it folds into a pretty acronym too. Hopefully, someone will knock up a nice big flag with those 3 letters on to cover the entire stand before ko.

White Cliff sounds awful. The first thing neutrals would think of when they heard that is Vera Lynn.
