I guess we were due a draw, been an awful week though and a better performance than against Chelsea but still nowhere good enough. Need to sort it out pronto

Sure, it could have been worse. But after this, I think we will miss top 4. Man U will probably be 2 points behind us after their game against Southampton. Chelsea play Fulham tomorrow, will be easy 3 points for them. Then they will be 5 points behind us with a game in hand. And we have away games against Liverpool and Man City before the season is over..

no worries - we'll win cl

Have to be content with a point really, we. This team just looks confused and with no focus currently, you'd hope with the equaliser that we'd have the momentum and push for a winner - instead if anything we got worse, booting the ball long in random fashion, no build up play or trying to apply pressure, and just all round messy chaotic play.

Not good for my heart rate.
Totally agreed, it's very hard to define our style of play at the moment and that is the most worrying. We're really lacking balance. I especially dislike this move of bringing Llorente on to partner Kane then we just start hoofing it anywhere? If we were gonna bring him on we should have at least brought Skipp on for switch of plays and got the ball into wide areas.

Rollercoaster of emotions there! Got point through sheer I don’t know what. Lamela sun changed the game for us.

Have to say another shocking referee performance, the second or third in the last 5 or so games. Thought the Oliver (?) joe was one of the worst I’ve seen in years, this may have beat that

Lamela contributed a lot again. In the fouls against column.
Erikson missing since Dec.
Trippier atrocious.
Sanchez error riddled.

It's the same names who let us down over and over again again when we are up against it.

Sissoko has shown immense character to escape that little crew.

Dier lucky he is ill.. I'm sure he would have copped it on here this week.

Glad of the point really am, as a performance I dont know where to start, i cant decide whether its tactical/mental or both.

I don’t think we have that full winning mentality yet, but don’t think that was the problem today.

No edge, no drive, no pace, shape wasn’t there.

Eriksen poor form is really hurting us there.

Sissoko has done better this year but him and another gives little creativity.

Narrow forwards don’t help. Especially when the fullbacks are delivering quality up the pitch.

And when team are well set up and sit back the spaces aren’t there anyway.

Seems to be a lot not right atm.

Where have my Spurs gone? The one where an in form, fit CM of Demebele & Wanyama controlled games. We've gone backwards.
The players you mention suffered unexpected declines at a time the club is under severe financial pressure. We could/should have tried to replace at least one but, for the money we likely have available, probably wouldn't have got much better than Winks, Sissoko and Dier. The situation has obviously been exacerbated by all 3 of them being out for spells. We certainly aren't in a position to be buying someone as good as peak Dembélé.

All those baffled by Rose in CM - we have seen it several times before. I'm pretty sure he came on there on his return from injury in the Bernabeu for example. I'm not saying it's a good idea, just that it's not unprecedented.

Torreira getting a 3 game ban is excellent news. Almost as good as not losing that game.

Sorry but that was awful. We've gotten away with one today.

Losing faith in Poch's decision making I'm not gonna lie, the football out there is awful and he seems so reluctant to change things. We're making ourselves heavily reliant on pretty much just Trippier as an outlet and aren't playing to get the most out of Kane, Son and Eriksen. Plus we vastly lack flow and creativity yet we're bringing on Llorente before Lucas only to hump the ball up to him and essentially play even worse. The idea should be to get more crosses in from wide not to turn into Stoke.

Really not happy to be honest but first and foremost I think Poch is making things even harder for himself. I mean Rose at CM was just the icing on the cake, like WTF. The players were all over the place with no shape or structure at all.

Poor throughout and just extremely shit to watch, for the 3rd game in a row now.

Well at least my weekend isn't ruined! But a CL place looks bleak playing like this. If Dele coming back is what we need to return to ourselves then I pray he starts training in the week and we have him available for Southampton.

Another awful game, another awful energy displayed.

What happened with Son? or Eriksen? Man, they are playing really shit in the past 3 games.

Thought Sanchez was a liability, Trippier should be playing in the Championship. Good to see Lloris defending another penalty. Vertonghen is a god, man, I love him so much, never leave us.

Pochettino is becoming so predictable in his substitutions, Lamela and Llorente offered nothing new again. What is the problem with Lucas?

Nervous game, the result maintains the gap and I take that.

Lamela comes on, runs around and hurts a couple of people and that is literally it. Surely, surely someone in our academy could do that or a bit more. He really is so average. As for Eriksen, where has he gone? Alli can’t come back quick enough.

What was “dubious” about our pen? Happened right in front of us and was a clear foul. Clear as day. Was it offside or something?

Considering how that game was going and what happened at the end, a point is ok. We really need to get back to winning ways though.

What has top 4 gotten us anyway? We don't buy anyone, players still want to leave, and we certainly aren't winning the CL , and we're slowly getting worse since the Leicester winning season in terms of our football style and energy

Rose in midfield is all from Pochs shambles of a selection, he couldve brought Wanyama on late if we hadn't have started with 5 CB/dms

we needed that draw... losing would have made our top 4 positions very nervy, a 4point gap to arsenal, and a 2 point gap to chelsea (if they win their 2 games in hand).

i thot we played decently well. i still prefer 4-2-3-1. but we lack a holding midfielder.

*sigh*
1 point... better then arsenal getting 3.
