Just ignore him guys, he's just a sheep who probably still thinks the world's round.

On a serious note though, he actually thinks spelling out 'pimp' phonetically as a username is clever....we're way out of our depth here.

I don’t know. Dean clearly said something, I’m not denying that, I just doubt that it was as bad as is being made out in here.

Why has Pochettino apologised?
In the post match presser, Poch apologised for his reaction, but he maintains that he is 'in the right in his mind.'

Why has Pochettino apologised?

It's about his own personal integrity. Regardless of what Dean said, he holds himself to a high standard and part of that is being in emotional control at all times. This also reminds the players of the standards that he sets.

i'm really baffled why there is some disagreement here. The evidence is quite clear.

Poch is annoyed the way Mike Dean refs our games, he feels he is bias against us, which could be true. A couple of examples during the game: We had a potential 50/50 corner that was given as a goal kick, a couple of minutes later a 50/50 (i'm being generous due to Mike Dean's position) was given to them as a corner. Another example throughout the game was the challenges they made were never pulled up as fouls, but when our players challenged high balls in a similar fashion Dean would give them a free kick. They should have had a player sent off for a tackle on Rose.

However, in this game, there wasn't enough to say it ruined the game for us, hampered for sure but our performance was below par. We've been on the end of far worse ref performances this year.

Poch was clearly upset with the performance and this led to him being more frustrated than usual at the ref. In telling the ref he was not impressed Dean has clearly said something he shouldn't have which caused the reaction.

Poch has since apologised for the reaction, but that doesn't excuse whatever Mike Dean said.

i doubt we will ever know.

These are the facts as we know them, not excuses for the defeat or performance.

I’m not aware that Pochettino has either claimed or insinuated that Dean is biased against us. We also don’t know that Dean has “said something he shouldn’t have”. All we DO know is that he has said something that Pochettino didn’t like, which is FAR from being the same thing. So I don’t know that the above can in any way be presented or accepted as fact.

We also don’t know if something was said first by either Pochettino to prompt whatever it was that Dean said.

And Jesus Perez, and Jimenez. All 3 of them were walking away from Dean, then all 3, at exactly the same time 'reacted'.

3 different people, all react with rage at the exact same time.

One saying "don't say that" repeatedly.

Another saying "say that to the camera"

And the other saying "you'll never work again".

But yeah, you're right. We've got nothing to go on & it's all just speculation.

The fact that Jimenez says “you’ll never work again” has to imply that it was something well out of order.

That's wholly and utterly irrelevant. The only thing we can say for certain is that he said something Pochettino (yes, and his two assistants) didn't like. No-one with a semi-reasonable grasp of the English language should any problem at all with my stating that saying something one (or three) doesn't like isn't automatically the same thing as saying something you shouldn't have done.

We also don't know what was said to him first. If we genuinely felt what he said was out of order, then the opportunity was there to raise it with the Premier League. For whatever reason, we chose not to, and it's stupid to keep pushing this narrative of one party being at fault solely on the basis of the the visible reaction of the other.

Why does it? What if Dean said something along the lines of "blame yourself, not me", and they got offended at that? Would you consider that to be so out of order?

I wouldn’t expect anyone to get so enraged by that comment so I doubt it was as soft as that

Yeah because "blame yourself not me" is really going to make 3 individuals all turn in unison & proclaim, don't say that, then ask him to repeat it to the camera, and also say he'll never work again.

3 individuals that usually carry themselves with great dignity & exude calmness.

Yeah I think you're arguing for the sake of it.

To be fair if he’d said ‘I’m an adult baby and I eat my own soiled nappies’ that could have got the same reaction from our boys, and isn’t necessarily a diss
