I don’t think any of them are good enough to challenge for the title, but then i’d say the same about both of our left backs and our central midfield options.

We need upgrades in all of those positions before next season.

Healthy Rose is still that good but agree on the rest. Problem is he is always injured so its pretty irrelevant.

Give Walker Peters a run at RB already. Ridiculous that we arent. Rose is full time LB. Enough with Davies and FB rotation. Verts back up LB. Aurier back up RB.

Sell Trippier, Aurier and Davies in the summer. Buy a new RB and LB to compete with KWP and Rose.

This summer, we should be wrapping Trippier up in little bows, copyright striking every last video on the internet of Trippier’s countless fuck ups and offering him to Palace + a small sum for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Think the issue with KWP is that he doesn't (yet) have the strength to cope with Premier League attackers. Poch saw him get absolutely bullied by Antonio and has hardly given him a look in since.

Hopefully that will be resolved as KWP fills out his frame but for the time being it means that we are stuck with two players who are miles away from being good enough for a club with ambitions to compete at the top of the table and in the CL. It absolutely has to be addressed in the summer.
The jury is out on KWP, but I think we can certainly say we know what we are getting from Trippier and Aurier and it's not exactly great.
At best Aurier should be back up RB but both of them should probably go.

We need to see if KWP can cut it from now till the end of the season, time to start him in a lot of games now.

As for targets, Wan-Bissaka and potentially Aarons spring to mind.

I don't understand how we can expect consistency in our play by rotating our full backs every game, when they aren't like for like replacements.

To be fair the constant fullback rotation is something that needs to be reigned in ASAP. Important to rotate of course, but Poch’s compulsive switching of fullbacks is quite bizarre.

It's almost like he feels he has to. I'd much rather we had two dependable, quick full backs and a couple of younger understudies.

I'm assuming he does it with Rose due to injury concerns but to have to consistently rotate the starters we need someone better than Davies. The drop off in those two is massive.

Really ticked me off when he rotated Walker all the dame time for no reason.
