Our big, glaring weakness is still our midfield. Whenever we are pressed hard we run out of options as our midfielders are limited passers. The only one in midfield with proper passing range is Eriksen and thus when he's out of the game, so are we.
A strong player with decent vision and a great passing range is probably the missing piece that would take us to the next level.

A quality centre mid and a look at full backs for me.

Anyone we buy will be dependent on who we sell and for how much.

Don’t want us getting stuck with home grown issues again. Brooks, Wan Bissaka, Rice and Sessegnon are players I would like us to enquire about.

Well we fans think this, but does Poch?

It seems Real fans are done with Bale, another poor performance last night.. But I think he would be great again in here. And if Eriksen goes to Real, would you take Bale back? I'm not sure is it rational at this point but how could you say no.. Kane Alli Son Bale would scare the shit out of everybody.

Talented certainly, but what about his injury record?

(I'm guessing you knew someone would say this ;))
I honestly don’t ?
He is being offered to few top level clubs. Accepting his injury record, and with no fee and decent wage, I think it would be a good shout, as he would spend a lot of time on the bench. But top level threat and quality to come off the bench. Or play the off game to rest H

I’d still love him, would be a great statement of intent too!

Trouble is he's fit so rarely, you're just trusting to luck that the short periods he is fit for coincide with the time that Kane is injured.

Yes but what about that stupid/ridiculous dance/celebration. Don't want that at Spurs, thanks.

Edit: If we are going for anyone from Pool it should be Harry Wilson.

I think I'd rather just give Llorente another year. Son is first choice ST backup anyway. Every chance Sturridge would be injured when we needed to call upon him.

Keep Llorente and Toby, overhaul the RB position, get in a top CM. Replace Eriksen if he goes. Keep the work in the summer as simple as possible. We all know how hard it is for us to secure transfers these days!

Last night showed the benefit of this team growing together over the last few years, we should do whatever we can to keep the core together IMO. (as tempting as it is to be clever and try to 'evolve' the squad at the right time)

We're gonna sell Kane and Dele as we clearly no longer need em for a 450 million midfield/RB overhaul. They'll be lucky to make the bench after last night.

Would bring in Chilwell and Madison. Probably take Rice off West Ham's hands as well:)

Crucially Bale's an experienced winner at the highest level as well, which we need

Not sure how we could get around his wages tbh

And if he was leaving, lots of the 'big boys' would be in for him as well

Would absolutely love it though!!
