Interested what people think he’s worth now. If the 3 mentioned above were all £60m he must be close to that ? Seems ridiculous but that’s the market value.

If he could improve his distance shooting he'd be dangerous. A lot of the time now when he has the ball, the opposition gives him the time and space to shoot, but he doesn't.

If they knew he could bang one in from distance, someone would have to run out of the defensive line to close him down.

If he can practise shooting twice a week with his namesake after regular training, he should improve inside 3 months.

Love when Winks is asked about his football idols and memories growing up he talks about things like the 2008 League cup win as a big highlight!

Proper spurs fan that would be up in the stands if we wasn’t on the pitch combined with a quality player - rare in the modern game and we have several of them

Have to say after watching verratti pretty closely tonight I don’t see very much between him and Winks. I think a good run for us in CL would put Winks right there with the best in Europe.

No. I just think if there’s one top European midfielder I’d compare Winks to it would be verratti they are incredibly similar. Anyhow it’s pretty obvious Winks has gone past the expectation stage.

Oh it's a good player to player comparison, I just thinks it's a tad unfair to expect Harry to dominate in the champions league knockout rounds, when he still hasnt put in an entire season of bossing the premier league yet.

I think Winks impresses more than one of our legends at this particular stage of their respective careers. I'm talking of Steve Perryman.

I’m not “expecting” him to. I’m just saying if we do have a good run say get to the semis it’s likely Winks will be instrumental and that will push right into the top tier.

Like i love how he plays... he reminds of a Modric but without the passing. The way he glides past players... very rarely loses the ball... his pace is a great asset.
