I went past the stadium today, it looks very impressive and also MASSIVE! Can not wait for us to get in there.

“Hi mate, March looks like a no-goer, even if we did have the license we have not accepted the stadium off Mace yet, very contractual wrangles atm especially with the insurance. Club & Mace are still pushing for April. Horrid feeling we will now be at Wembley all season”

Sounds like we now we want Crystal Palace to advance in the Cup, right?

I know he's only trying to keep the fans informed, but he changes his mind every 5 minutes. He just hasn't proved to be reliable at all.

ITK? Where did that bit come from?

Edit - they may be equally happy enough.

Not sure what your point is when have I ever claimed to be ITK? You don't have to be ITK to read comments from the Premier League in newspapers or to read the publicly available handbook that I quoted earlier in the thread.

Does anyone know what specific security measures will be enforced at the stadium? Is there anything particularly noteworthy or will it just be like every other stadium?
Going to be Emmental. Swiss guard with Longhorns and buffalo

I can't find this - have you a link?
It seems a bit odd as we were supposedly happy to accept the stadium last year with its guts hanging out the sides, but now there are potentially wrangles despite the stadium looking pretty much finished.

Could it be that we might have to wait until we get the next lump of TV money, season ticket payments, maybe some naming rights payments and even profits from player sales before we can afford to accept the stadium and trigger hefty payments to Mace?
It is not a nice thought that we might be having cash flow problems, but it would hardly be surprising.

Pretty common expression I thought..? As in they're not keen on it and only allow it in exceptional circumstances.

Might be a common expression but this is the only circumstance. No other club has been in this position.

So at the meeting discussing this did they frown? Kiss their teeth?

The stadium still looking like Swiss cheese in parts so never mind the cheese room I will be grateful it gets finished before next season.

Be willing to bet that they’re fighting over litigation verbiage in the package. I’m sure Mace has canned verbiage about the project has been delivered complete and as such the owner is not allowed to take legal action against Mace.

Not sure how it’s ‘heavily frowned upon’ when it’s with full approval of the PL. It’s either been allowable or not. A fully professional decision. I’m sure Spurs will have kept the PL much more up to date than us fans and any decisions will be made after consultation.

I've no idea what they did in a private meeting, but as I ever already said, theyve commented publicly saying that they don't want teams playing in more than one stadium in the season, and the publicly available handbook for PL clubs outlines the process states that it will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances after going through a due process.

I really don't know why you're so fixated on the expression I chose to use to be honest. I'm not talking about anyone physically frowning it's just a common expression, which you seem to be aware of, so why the obsession with it when what I've said is completely correct based on publicly available information. Im starting to think you're just trolling now to be honest.
