Weird comments from Schmeichel today, saying that we didn't create a chance vs Leicester. Does he mean didn't create a chance we didn't score from?

I agree we were well below par but if he thinks we didn't create a single chance but scored 3 goals that's not saying a lot about his son...

Sutton is a talentless **** who has decided to go down the misery pundit route and be ultra-critical and deliberately rude in order to create a personality for himself (because he has none), and cash in by being controversial.

The only good thing about shitty BT Sport is they’ve taken him and Robbie Savage off terrestrial tv so I don’t have to watch either of the twats during Final Score anymore.
Him and Savage both figured out, or stumbled upon the Piers Morgan trolling school of punditry. It doesn’t matter whether you’re right or wrong, just make your opinions loud and extreme, and keep making sure you generate click-bait.

Incredible really considering both are as thick as pig-shit.

Yet when Juventus knocked us out last year with their only two chances it was a sign of incredible winners’ mentality.

controversial opinion, but i don't actually mind Sutton that much. his commentary should never see the light of day, but as a pundit i don't think he's the worst around.

Not controversial at all - i like the dude. Yeah he tries to be controversial but he says it like it is. Good dude.

If you ever find yourself getting wound up by Sutton, just remember this...

In the season we challenged Leicester for the title he said, in mid-October, that we wouldn’t finish above Palace :woot:

He said it that January too the day we played them and Alli scored his wondergoal. Remember it vividly because I was helping my mate move as he was going through chemo and he and his missus needed the extra hands while he rested. Daft prick bigged up that Pardew side as being Europa bound, will stick with me for life because I watched my mate go from looking grey and rough to laughing his arse off. Can't hear Sutton's voice without thinking of Ron Manager from the Fast Show with a wired jaw suffering with constipation.

Does he really "say it like it is" or does he take a deliberately obtuse standpoint in order to garner a reaction?
Ive always considered the phrase 'says it how it is' to mean, 'a bit of a ****'.
However i quite like Sutton and Savage digging each other out, as they're both pretty dislikable.

Rose in first half comes to mind if he is looking for a chance except goals.

I don't take what Pundits say personally. But, I do listen or watch out for those that give us credit where it is due. On the whole, those like Neville have been fairly complimentary over the years.

It's weird, people don't think we're in a title race, yet we'll comfortably get top 4 at this pace. With all the off the field stuff this season, I am yet to see one pundit give us credit for that. Getting 3rd without any signings, constant stadium delays, countless injuries, the post WC fatigue and no pre season for NINE players would be a huge achievement. We were supposed to be in the new ground, so this has turned into another transitional season like last. Poch and the players have done a remarkable job.

I know most in the US say it is amazing we are where we are considering everything we have gone through. With that said, they still think we have only an outside (if any at all) chance of winning the league.

How does Champagne Charlie think we'll do against Dortmund...here's his low down...

Spurs are grinding results at the minute but doing the business without Harry Kane and Dele Alli. Heung-Min Son has to be in the potential list of six for Premier League player of the year. He is carrying Spurs through and his energy levels have been outstanding.

This is a different Dortmund side though, and I still feel Spurs have a weakness at the back. Mauricio Pochettino has been chopping and changing too much in defence. Kane could be back for the return leg but the reality is this is another game of goals.

Both teams will open up and attack well. Dortmund will not be as adventurous - they will sit in and counter-attack which will be dangerous for Spurs, and they will choke them and try to boss midfield.

Charlies's Prediction...1-1

A game of 2 goals then Charlie??

He's such a dick.

How he’s still employed by anyone is a strange phenomenon. I still remember the day he left his, what looked like, glass of whiskey on top of the desk on soccer Saturday and then quickly whipped it away. No coverage or mention of it, guess it was before the time of intense social media we have now else he’d of been spotted and probably out of a job.

Found Sutton to be ok during the the Palace FA defeat the other week.
He pointed out there have been 37 different times a player has been out injured for us this season and that it's remarkable where we are. Given we lost our 2nd cup game in a week, I'd say that wasn't anti Spurs at all.

Ian Wright saying Son is now worth 60 to 70m.

F*ck that - he's worth way, way more. I wouldn't sell him for £100m+. He's one of the league's best players and has his best years ahead of him

Always found him to be a bit of a pompous prick whenever he's been on punditry.

The other day I posted his comments about Schmeichel Jr, Leicester and Puel and that 'Leicester aren't a bad team but don't have a manager who is getting the best out of them". Another pundit who's only in it for ego.

FFS Zaha is worth that, apparently.

Son much, much the better player and they couldn't be much different in age.

His brother Jonathan Sutton played in our youth teams around 15 years ago.
