Same here.

My only real gripe with buying a ST this season was that they charged a new stadium premium without the new stadium be signed off as ready to host games.

A much better alternative, as far as i’m concerned, would have been to freeze prices for this season while informing fans that prices would be going up next season to reflect a fully completed and operational stadium.

how could they freeze the prices, when they never knew in March about the delays?

to do that if we had got in to then charge the east stand half the price the west was paying would of cause controversy, and would of caused even more problems the following season, if they never allowed you to change your seat the following season. I bet many of the east stand ended up buying a ST in either the north or south because of the cost. it would of meant the following season when their tickets went up over 50% could of meant having to give them up.

all those that mention the club should of done this, or done that, all seem to have a feeling the club knew we would have a major delay, and to embarrass themselves by putting up posters about the place in London to watch the CL.

Guys, the discussion is going to and fro. It is what it is. I know this is a forum for talking about such things but it’s getting super boring. Let’s hope we get back home soon. I was cold today at that crap ground and need a bit of picking up.

Its Dortmund on Wednesday in Champions League.

It might be at Wembley rather than NWHL but all the moaning has got to stop.

We need to get behind this team and prove that we, as well as the club deserve to be in this competition.

Perhaps we can have a separate thread about season ticket arrangements. You can discuss any conspiracy theories to your heart's content :)

Edward has been magnificent during the build. So greatful. If anyone hasn't go on his channel and leave a like and subscribe. Don't know the guy chatted on skyscrapercity once or twice but thanks. Dunno what he'll do when it's finished.

Thinking about ‘they’ll make us play the rest of the season at Wembley’.
Allegedly it’s costing us somewhere between half and one million pounds for every game at Wembley, so how can we be made to continue that if we have a stadium ready for use? Think there could be a legal battle unless this scenario (can’t play between 1-5 games at a new stadium) is actually written in PL rules?

Yeah, the club will not choose to stay at Wembley, it will continue to cost us money and we aren’t in a position to afford that. If the PL loose patience they could well tell us to stay there but that’s completely different. If we are told to stay there, then I expect we will claim these costs back from insurance / mace. This would also explain why they give us small updates on games, because they fully expect to be in this season, until they hear otherwise from Mace or the PL.

I'm pleased that there are others who see "CONSPIRACY!" underlying some people's posts, namely that the club/Levy knew the stadium wasn't going to be ready and took our money anyway. Balderdash and piffle!

Why I think the last five games thing is a lot of nonsense is because at the start of the season the Premier league never stipulated that if we need to play some games at Wembley we would have to play a minimum of five games.
The fact that it is our home ground is irrelevant, the basis is two seperate grounds and if you can play less than five games at one then you can play less than five at the other, hopefully we'll play five and not less anyway but either way it will be down to us.

You’d think the PL or FA have had ample time to come to a decision as to whether we should play at Wembley for the remainder of the season.
They could have jumped in at any point saying “enough is enough, you must stay at Wembley until next season”. As far as I’m aware, they haven’t.
It would be a brave of them to make the call of staying at Wembley if we can open the new stadium for Palace/Brighton.

If that happened, it could be seen as giving an advantage to the other teams chasing the title or CL spots.

I think they’ve left it far too late to say we can’t use the new stadium if it’s ready.

If the PL table stays like this to the end of the season we can save some money by reusing those adverts on the tube for the stadium , "The only place in London to watch Champions League football" , should save a few bob.

It will stay like this now, the only change will be among the top three. I'm really looking forward to seeing those adverts again and we really ought to increase the number of them in "certain areas":)

Indeed the original agreement was for one game only - Fulham

Besides (and I've asked to be shown this many times because I couldn't find it) I'm yet to see where it says in the Premier League rules that you can't play in two grounds in one season. The media have SAID it but I'm yet to see it with my own eyes. I don't think I've ever seen an article even directly quoting the actual rule in the PL rulebook.

I'm pretty calm and I bought a season ticket.
So am I...tbh theyre giving me more or less what i wanted, which was if we were spending another year at Wembley, to allow a year off without losing my ST.
It's a bit of a ballache having to get refunds every now and then, but this way i still get to go to the games i want to this season as well.

Admittedly this might look a bit 'fair weather' to some of the 'week in, week out' brigade...and fair play to them, but Wembley is a dump and a nightmare to get to and get home from.

We're in exactly the same boat by the sound of it. I can do home to WHL in 2 hours if the traffic's OK - Wembley is more like 4.

Could be wrong, but I think it's written in the PL rules that clubs can't play home games in more than one stadium, it's just that the authorities and other clubs have been verbally flexible for us.
They could very easily just say no...

“the Guardian can reveal that the much talked about VIP cheese room will not be happening.”

There is no cheese room at the new stadium, I repeat no Cheese room, it’s a disaster

I will be on the High Road at 4pm this afternoon ready to burn my season ticket card and throw it at the large glass frontage of the stadium. I urge all of you to join me.
