Sell one of the top 3 left backs in the league, at 28 years old-his prime, to a newly promoted club? Not to mention he's homegrown and our longest serving player.

He's had one injury this season, a groin strain

Batshit crazy
He really hasn’t been one of the top three LBs in the league for over two years. He’s got a chronic ankle problem, and he struggles to play two games a week.

I’ve loved watching him, but Poch wanted to sell him last summer, and I’d be surprised if he doesn’t next summer. His best days are behind him, and we should sell while he’s still worth something.

Completely agree, Rose when fit is great and easily competes with Chillwell and Perriera tbh on form and fit he surpasses these guys but how often will he be fit, Trippier on the other hand. I loathe to see him in the starting 11. Today showed how having two dominate full backs can change the whole team dynamic, this is the area Leicester showed their strength today.

I agree. If they struggle, it’ll be down to a bit of inexperience and odious scrotes like Vardy undermining the coach. The guy is a morally flaccid and ethically incontinent. He stabs coaches in the back, tries to turn the locker room against them when things are rocky and then takes no responsibility for the fallout. Despise people like that in all walks of life. By the sounds of it, him and Maddison are two petulant peas in a corrosive pod.

Maybe Vardy can replace Hazard at Chelsea next season ... ;)

In my opinion it's clear as day that Maddison would not be good enough to replace Eriksen as some of the media outlets are stupidly suggesting. Even before we saw Tielemans display yesterday I was disappointed we didn't acquire him on loan when the chance appeared to be there in the January window. Having seen him yesterday I am now even more convinced that we will live to rue this one as a missed opportunity. Once in our squad and in training with Poch I think it would have tipped the scales even more in favour of us getting him in the long term as I'm convinced he would have loved it being in our squad. I fear now that he may be out of our reach if he performs well for the rest of the season.

I think if Leeds came up, Rose would love to go back to Leeds.

Also think we'd definitely consider selling him in the summer, he'll be 29 this July and think he'll have two years left on his contract.

I think it’s pretty obvious that we need new fullbacks. Yesterday only highlighted it, if that game was against City or ‘Pool, we’d have been mullered. Their pace on the wings, we need people able to compete with that. Trips positioning is awful, KWalkers’ was too when we had him, but his pace saved him so much in recovery. Davies should be moved centrally, and Rose is past his best.

Aurier has never lived up to the hype, and I think he will go, but we’d get much more for Trippier. I wouldn’t mind losing both if we could get AWB, and MA in for the right. And either Tierney or Sess for the left.

Then we need a quality CM, and wing forward (Zaha?), and that’s al without the expected loss of Eriksen (most league assists above anyone) and Toby at the back - with Jan not getting any younger.

Big summer, big questions need answering.

Whether it's their positioning or the instructions that Poch gives them to play high up - the point is still true, without recovery pace it's a disaster waiting to happen.

If we sell Rose, I'd love Chilwell. Poch would work wonders with him. He absolutely terrorised Trippier yesterday (I Dread to think what Sancho could do to him. I know he's primarily off the right but id switch him if I were the dortmund manager).

Tielemans would have been an astute signing on loan but we cant moan now. Aim for elite CM in the summer. If we somehow found a way to get Chilwell, Havertz and Brandt this summer I'd be ecstatic. Optimistic in the extreme would be to get De Ligt if Toby went and a new RB too.

Even I can terrorise Trippier

The word is that Pep's had enough of Mendy's antics and is sweet on Chilwell, so forget about it.

Aarons doesn't want to come back here. He wants to go to either the Gooners or West Ham. Who knows if that would change if an acceptable bid was made and we were talking but that was his initial response off the bat.

If Aarons wants to go to Goons or Pikeys he's not good enough to play for Spurs anyway.

If it's BS, and he does want to join us, he'd probably be a very good signing.
