I hope they don't and Chelsea get fourth place.

1. No way would Poch leave spurs for a CL-less ManUtd.
2. Arsenal need to keep out, it's killing them and there can only be one up dog in north London.
3. Chelsea will attract whoever they want by throwing money at it anyway, so CL doesn't make much difference to them

1. I doubt Poch will join them even if they have CL next year.

2. Agree. If they are continuously kept out of CL, it will affect their finances and allure, down the line.

3. United also have the finances even without CL.

The saving grace for Arse is that it is much, much cheaper to assemble a good defence, which is where they really need to focus their efforts.

So what did those idiots do? They bought in Dennis Suarez. I thought that was very funny.

Yes I'd have to agree that UTD getting CL is better than arse or Chelsea getting it. With the money they generate they're almost an unstoppable force, long term anyway. Whereas arse and Chelsea are as pinched financially as they ever will be at the moment so giving them a boost of CL qualification would transmit directly to the transfer market and their performances next season.

Tomorrow is going to be a bloody hard game though unfortunately. I’m as desperate as the rest of us to win it but it’s going to be a grind. I’d take another full bore fest one nil win (and I’m going to the game!).

Other than Huddersfield, are there are any other games in the PL? Leicester have some good players, but they’re only 8 points or so clear of relegation. This is not a great Leicester team at all.

For United to get CL football would surely mean they'd have to offer Ole the job. Their fans were resigned to 6th at best this season when Mourinho had finished doing his damage.

Hopefully they beat both Chelsea and Arsenal to 4th (with us finishing above, of course) and get something off at least Liverpool, but hopefully City too, at OT.

Beat Leicester and Burnley and we will be 2pts behind Liverpool before they kick a ball again in PL. And that will be at Old Trafford in 2 weeks. Very conceivable the table could look like this after matchday 27.

City 65 pts
Liverpool 65 pts
Spurs 63 pts

Agreed, out of all our rivals we 100% have the toughest game this week.

You’re probably right, but more often than not they give us a good game.

Solskjaer will stay. I'm almost certain of it, especially if he gets top 4.

Chelsea and Arsenal need to stay out the top4 for as long as possible. Its hurting Arsenal and the longer it continues it will start to hurt Chelsea.

I know I shouldn't have but I saw that tweet again on Thursaday - the one about Spurs not having won a trophy for 4,000 days..

It was a load of sub Saharan Chelsea and Arsenal fans laughing their cocks off.

I told them about Arsenal having had a gap of 15 years without a trophy when Spurs won shedloads.
.
Then I told the Chelsea fans that their ground was in Fulham not Chelsea and they didn't even own the pitch
but they owned 100 players but not the pitch at Stamford Bridge.. And that they owed Abrahamovich more than a billion pound

An Arsenal fan more or less told me to stop talking about stuff from 40-50 years ago and I got a pic of Emery sent over which their other fans loved. (fuck knows why)

Then a Chelsea fan told me to stop telling lie and being ignorant. big LOL's.

I finished by posting a picture of this coming weeks Champions League fixtures but haven't heard back since then. It kinda killed both the mood and the conversation.

Win our next game at Burnley and we will be two points behind Liverpool, as they visit Old Trafford.

Time to crank the pressure on them.

With Kane and Alli, I don't see why we can't win at the Bridge. Liverpool and City away will then be two shootouts.

It is fucking on.

If we reach that City game and we are within 2 points I will really start to believe. At the moment we are one bad result from it becoming an incredibly tough ask.

We’re not in the race for the title yet in my opinion. If we can somehow manage to beat Burnley away and Liverpool lose to Utd then we are definitely in it. We’ll then have Kane and Dele back and give it a proper go. Having to go Chelsea, Liverpool and City away will be the decisive moments - we’d have to win two of them to have a chance likely. Considering our injuries, Wembley and fear of spending its phenomenal we’re even mentioned though.

If we didn't win it, then City winning via GD would be beautiful and so hilarious with Liverpool bottling it from being top at Christmas again.

As it stands, just another 25 points from 12 games guarantees us top 4. I'd still rather see Chelsea come back and draw, though.
