And their stick on logo/crests to make it look like they really dont give a shit.
They do the iron on bc the stitching from the embroidery can cause discomfort, as tight as the players wear their shirts nowadays.

NBA has moved away from embroidered numbers as well. That used to be the giveaway as to whether you had an "authentic" NBA jersey or the cheap version.

There's a reason why all these internet kit designers are doing it from their box rooms and not a design agency...

What a stupid statement. Nike have templated kits because they are safe and they know they will sell to mass market as long as they are not polarising in any way. It doesn't make them good design. It doesn't make the design agencies, or in-house designers they use, creative, just designers who can follow a brief. The "internet kit designers" in their box rooms are, on the whole, putting far more effort and creativity into their designs.

How many people have a generic "live, laugh, love" or "Keep calm" artwork in their homes. Probably a lot more than the number that have a replica Picasso piece hanging up but does that mean the Picasso is worse?

I get where @jurgen's coming from with this particular design (the one visible in the preview is rancid) but I agree with the fact a lot of these designs you see online are very creative - some of which are actually pretty nice, too!

I've offended multiple friends by stating how much I hate this tyrannosaurus shit of "inspiration."

Anyway, I'm off to buy some wooden letters to spell out 'BATH'. For my fucking study.

Did you just conflate a fantasy kit by some online fellow with Picasso?

As someone who has a 'keep calm' poster in every room of my house, and a matching phone case, I am deeply offended.

These are apparently one of the templates designs, "2002 inspired", Nike will be using next season - so one of our kits will probably have this template.

That white kit would do nicely.

With the purple one as the away kit, and maybe the dark blue or black as the third kit.

everyone bangs on about templates but does any other nike team have the same crappy fade at the bottom of their shirt like we do?

Not really...

The map is obviously unique, as it’s of Tottenham and the diagonal lines are a nod to the 85-87 Hummel shirt.

Yeah the map is unique to us, but almost every other team with Nike is doing the same thing with their third kit.

Our away kit is using the same template as Roma and many other teams, too

Worse than the visual design, imo, is the fit. If you want a fitted one you have to Spend £90 for a plastic t-shirt that'll be out of date in a year.
The replica ones look shocking and they're sixtypoxyquid.

Anything to do with the disgrace that is colin kaepernick will never be purchased by me. Disgusts me that they will make our shirts.
Unless Nike sponsored the killings of a mass murderer, I honestly couldn't give a shit that they're affiliated with someone who has their own opinion.
