His biggest asset is that he has a cracking shot in both feet. Must be a nightmare to try to defend against him. His first touch has also improved immensely.

He needs space to shoot. Playing alongside with Kane or Llorente really suits his play. Today Llorente attracts the defenders and gives Son the place.

The closest we've had to Bale since he left - he simply has it all and you always feel confident that he can deliver in the tightest of games.

Fast becoming my favourite player. Poch must love his passion and determination.

Fucking love him! His amazing enthusiasm and never say die attitude. He plays like he has come though our academy, clearly tired but runs through walls for the team. Talented with both feet and no shortage of pace. I’m sure he’s amazing around the training ground as well. Always a smile on his face, must be a fantastic team mate.

Thought he looked knackered today, which is understandable, yet still stepped up when needed with the goal.

Love Son, especially the way he always gives his all, plus always plays with a smile on his face. Also love the way he virtually pays for himself with all the South Koreans that come to see him play.

There were a few fools on here wanting South Korea to go all the way in the Asia Cup and were disappointed in the posters that wanted them knocked out asap. Wonder how they feel now? Still preferred him to go all the way. Without Son we probably get 1 point instead of 6. That's why people wanted him back.

Towards the end there before he got subbed, he just walking tying to converse some energy. We're lucky that he didn't come off injured and that he'll have at least 3 days off to recover and 4 days training to help prepare for the next fixture.

I think part of the reason he scores so many is that he has an incredible technique to absolutely lace the ball and get it on target regularly, both feet too. Dubravka prob should have saved today's goal but the power on it just increased the chance of it going in.

probably but Son bounced it right in front of the keeper - Dubravka isnt the first one to misjudge that.

While I too wanted Korea out and am happy Son is back and scoring for us, don't call people tools, it's not nice (y)

I would say top 5 at least at the moment.

I agree, yet did you see his interview (can't remember if it was on MOTD or the Sky people after the game).

They asked him about how (in their opinion) he feels about possibly being up for the League Player Of The Season. His response was something along the lines of "maybe in the future, I've still got some improving to do".

His modesty is what makes him such an embracing player. Love the lad.

Shearer has said that if Sonny continues his good form, he might be contender for PL POTS.

Unfortunately due to the amount of people jerking off all over VVD face - he will end up winning it.

Son will only win it if he continues his form and we win the league

I've no idea if this is factually correct but I saw it on twitter and it made me smile, so thought I'd share :)

Son went to the Asian Games, came back. Then went to the Asian Cup, came back again. And still has more Premier League goals than Alexandre Lacazette.
