I fully agree. I just meant in total. Given we didn't sign in the summer, we absolutely needed to strengthen this window. We aren't unique in world football. Not signing anyone in the summer is worse than not signing anyone now imo
Poker. Maybe a million here or a million there is good business. Plenty of time yet.Why the fek is Levy turning down loans on VJ?
Nobody wants to risk buying him on our terms. We don’t want 15m for him btw. Much less than that. Let him out on loan with a ‘view’, but not ‘obligation to buy’. His recent injury record is not encouraging. FFS
Fucking austerityI never expected trying to offload Vincent Janssen on loan would be our most exciting transfer story of an entire season
Just you wait until next January when we're still trying to get rid of him, it'll be the most exciting transfer saga of the decade.I never expected trying to offload Vincent Janssen on loan would be our most exciting transfer story of an entire season
7 points off the lead, 2 behind City, and all we're doing is haggling over a player without a squad number.I never expected trying to offload Vincent Janssen on loan would be our most exciting transfer story of an entire season

We weren’t exactly ‘happy’ when Redknapp bought Saha and Nelsen in January when we were going for the top 4. It’s now 2019, we’re going for the top 2 and not only have we bought nobody, we’ve actually sold 2, maybe 3 players (including, on his day, one of the finest midfielders in the prem).
I mean... it ain’t great is it. I know the stadium cost has set us back and I still have faith, but fuck me we make it difficult for ourselves.
I’ll pray for a late signing today but if not, I still have faith for a top 4 finish as we continue, somehow, to punch above our weight. ?
If there is no quality CM available now where will he come from in the summer. It will be the same players but 6 months older.
Which new player we will target in summer who do not exist now. & months doesn't make much of a difference

Completely agree.I think it's more about the quality of signing we now have to go for to improve the squad. They're more difficult to obtain - especially in January - but you'll notice neither Liverpool nor City are buying anyone.
It was last summer that we needed to really prepare for better.
Barmy - not really. Kane drops deep anyway and links play. It gives us more attacking options, more threat but if you're happy to keep going with players like Llorente as a backup then go ahead. Only my opinion don't expect everyone to agree. Remember it worked at Old Trafford with Moura. You want to switch the worlds best striker from his striking role and use him as a number ten ? Barmy.
I am pretty sure that is what everyone was saying last summer.
City just signed some Croatian kid and loaned him back to his club.but you'll notice neither Liverpool nor City are buying anyone.
Has your mum dropped her prices then? Some of you would have stopped being virgins by the time he goes
