We will persevere.

Dier is back. Sissoko is close - apparently. That allows rotation - with Skipp also in the mix - at CM.

Lucas is close - Son will be back after a couple more league matches.

We probably can't go 100% against Palace in FA Cup - we'll need a slower pace, and probably Skipp and Foyth, and maybe even GKN starting.

I hope we do bring in some bodies - but I hope they are long-term targets not simply short-term fixes - because the problem will fix itself by the time those players are really able to contribute.

Issue with Son coming back is he was knackered before leaving us. would of played 4/5 games extra with extra time and travel he isn't going to just come straight back in all firing again.. Need 1 ATT player signed. Lamela is likely to be injured and miss a few games between now and March.. Demands on Eriksen and Lucas are now staggering

The problem is now is that things are going to start to snowball as we overplay the existing players.

Shocking news, I half expected it to be be 2-3 weeks or so and this is so much worse. To lose your two biggest goal threats inside a week is harsh, especially when the next man up is in Dubai! Bad timing

I know it's brought up time and time again but how the hell did anyone at the club let us go through last summer without a signing:banghead:

Still not convinced by our medical team. Dele 3rd hamstring injury since the world cup.... small things like not helping Kane off the field against united. How many 'small injurys' do we have that end up being a month? How can wanyama still be out after about 2 yrs of rehab..Is it the demands of Pochs high intensity in training?? starting to become to many adding up to call it unlucky for me.

No pre season

Even if we do sign 2 players this week, we'll have to rely on more from our academy as I can't see any new player to go straight in against Chelscum on Thursday or Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Just speeches, could have been worse.. might affect the other players mentally or not giving 100% for the fear of injury.

Just not looking forward to our next game. Only Toby hasn't been out with an injury, pretty damning if you ask me.

The other issue here is that being down to the bare bones, we may find that Winks and co who are now filling in only having recently come back from injuries themselves may again become injured by having to play every game. Meaning even when we get players back, we are still lacking from the bench.

Someone on here the other day mentioned Jay Rodriguez. Ok, not glamorous, not a marquee signing we all want.. but could hit the ground running in terms of premier league experience, and understanding what Poch wants to see.

The guy who suggested it got a lot of “hardly exciting is it” type answers. To be honest, I can see the benefit though. Can also play a few positions.

Would also add Morgan Schneiderlin to that list of potential fill in players. Doesn't sound or look like we'll make any big money moves so those two ( as depressing as it might sound) would be best short term options, who know Poch and could help us through the rest of the season.

Will actually be amusing in a gallows kind of way if we lose Dembele, Kane, dele and son during a transfer window and still don't use it to sign anyone.

Struggle to believe a limited pre season has anything to do with reoccurring injury’s And helping Harry Kane hobble off a pitch

Recurring muscle injuries is absolutely a symptom of lack of base fitness. And Kane walking off is a total non issue

I think it’s had a knock on affect I doubt we would have had so many injury’s if the World Cup wasn’t on.

There’s a video of Dele jumping up when we scored. I really don’t think he’d be doing that if it was a serious tear.

not having ago honest, but can you stop predicting lol. Bahrain are no mugs, and your right they only lost 2-1:(

unfortunately out till March, with March being him expected to resume training:(

Dele wasn’t fully fit at World Cup, and then did hamstring with England over autumn internationals. Agree- HK injury unconnected.

Haha, we've signed one player in 18 months, and you think we're gonna sign 2 by next week?
