Mini compilation of Marcus vs Vitesse. So much potential and at times it looks effortless for him. This 2nd half of the season might be the making of him.

Now would be the ideal time for him to step up and grab his chance with us... can't see us cancelling his loan though

Now? lol he's nowhere near ready!

I mean in regard to our injury crisis ... that is often the time for youngsters to step up
He could get a look in with all those players out at the moment.
I know he doesn't seem to be anywhere near this sort of action for us

Would be really great if Edwards could have a great second half of the season at Excelsior & come back to us fit & firing! It's great to see talented kids come through our ranks and I would love Edwards to be the next. He has the talent, let's see if he can kick on & become the player his potential threatened! I, for one, and keeping my fingers firmly crossed.

Talent isn't in question, but attitude is. Purpose of farming him out to Holland was to isolate him, remove distractions and the attention he would get in any English league. Bring him back now and all the progress made so far would be lost. He needs to at least see out the season, even then there's no guarantees. Poch has a zero tolerance to inflated ego's

Well he’s been suffering with home sickness yet the manager has said they have seen no attitude problems with him which were described at norwich

16 games left and potentially more opportunities for Marcus to get some more goals/assists.

I will definitely check out the Feyenoord game.

EDIT: I live the states so apologies if the times don't match with UK time :LOL::LOL: Thanks @IGSpur for pointing that out.

1 shot
34 touches
60% pass accuracy (6/10)
80% dribbling accuracy (4/5)
Dispossessed 2 times

Only watched 5 minutes before he got subbed off but heard he caused their LB many problems

was also fouled 7 times.

he was mostly quiet(as you can see by his pass numbers) but was still good in spells, especially the first five minutes where he was causing them all sorts of problems. excelsior didn't have much of the ball in the final third and when that happens he struggles to have much of an impact on the game, i'd love to see him in a better team but this will be good experience for him, especially the work he has to do going the other way.
