Parrott is often compared to Robbie Keane. Just discovered Keane was just 6 weeks older than Parrott on debut. He scored twice.

I assume they mean because they're both Irish and strikers. Surely not playing style

I hear he's taken squad number 71 as when they asked what number he wanted he just replied "pieces of eight"!

That was actually a joke, but I've just seen he is number 71 in real life in the pic on the previous page! :D

The boy has got fire in his belly. I hope that Robbie is on hand to steer this lad on the straight and narrow.

hope I am not overdoing it. He reminds me style of Teddy Sheringham, but with some kind of pace, with a mixture of Frank Stapleton. For those who remember

17 in a couple of weeks. Not saying he should be leading the line but not a big stretch to think he may make the bench.

I wouldn’t be against It but just hope there’s not too much expectation heaped on him

Skipp is only 17 to be fair. I could see him make the bench with Kane and Son out. Our youngsters now are made of strong stuff compared to past generations. They always seem so confident in themselves when they come on. Winks was like that a couple of years ago, Skipp this season. The affect Poch has had on the mentality of the first team has filtered through to the academy. Probably has them get involved with the first team in training. I'm sure Parrott would be fine if he came in. Poch likes to give them only a couple of minutes early on anyway. Get them used to the matchday routine and a little action without too much pressure. Maybe a few minutes here and there before the FA Cup and then a bit more of a run out in that game if he did well.

Perish the thought

Spurs fans must be some of the most supportive and non judgmental people in the land.
If he was thrown into a game and made the odd mistake by trying to be positive which possibly led to a goal he would still be applauded high and low for having the confidence and maturity to try something ambitious

Get him in ASAP I say. What could possibly go wrong

What does that mean for those who do not remember?

He’s definitely a thinking clever striker/10 like a sheringham or berbatov but probably has more pace. Tbh very much like Kane. Be interesting if he starts tonight in youth cup. As it’s Thursday/ Sunday probably wouldn’t rule him out of Fulham. But if he doesn’t start tonight he’s definitely involved for Fulham.
