Didn't see Rodney Marsh make any comments about how disrespectful City were last night.

Agree, I live in Manchester, know loads of City fans and they all give it the big bollocks, all posting on bookface tonight but haven’t gone...****’s

Growing up in Manchester I'd say it was pretty 50/50 Utd and City fans even in the 90s when Utd were on top of the world and City were in the 3rd division. Utd obviously have more national support but in Manchester itself it's pretty even in my experience. Not sure why people weren't at the game. Maybe just because they knew it was going to be like a training match and pretty boring to watch? I dunno.

9-0 up and barely anyone in the ground.

Manchester City are a vile joke of a club.

Can guarantee Old Trafford would be packed out right now - all that nonsense City fans peddle about being the most popular club among Mancunians is total bollocks.

That's because the majority of Utd fans have London accents :)

Sod's law though, innit? Some of the other 'top' clubs have won so many trophies against bullshit opposition in their finals.

Our last 5 (maybe 6) finals in this cup:

Leicester
Blackburn
Chelsea
Man Utd
Chelsea
Man City (potentially)

Fair point!

Teams kept deciding that a cup match against Burton was a good chance to rotate and promptly lost, combined with some lucky draws (toughest team they faced was Burnley, who were struggling at the start of the season and had had to play six Europa qualifiers).

Burton Albion vs Manchester City (0:9)

Sky Sports
...
I gonna stick my neck out and call a "measly 7 goal thriller" with Albion getting zero goals.

Horrible feeling we won't get the Chelsea that played Woolwich on Saturday...these fuckers are bound to turn up.
Expecting the worst, but hoping for the best.

Is the Will Miller playing for Burton the same Will Miller who played a couple of preseason games down under for us a few years ago and looked promising?

Glad I didn't bother with that.
.
What a waste of time and effort. Bet the Sky Sports gang had fun trying to talk that one up.

He used to play for us but I don't know if he played in the Aus tour or not.
