i think if real gets hazard they wont go for eriksen.

personally i think isco is a better attacker than eriksen. eriksen runs more but i think isco could be moulded like how mahrez did for manc

Real probably "need" both.

It sounds like there maybe some wheels in motion behind the scenes and if Eriksen wants to go there is not much we can do but it won't be good news regardless of how it plays out IMO.

Maybe we are after Isco now in January, with an agreed fee for Eriksen in the summer?

I suppose this would strengthen us for the rest of the season on the run in...

Just trying to look for positives.
That’ll be another non-homegrown player, we have to many as it is.

I’m more worried about Barcalona regarding eriksen, they have always been looking at him, and I think that’s his preferred choice of destination.

Regarding Isco I wonder if this is the reason for poch comments in media recently about changing our philosophy in the way we go about our business, financially we can’t afford to get Isco with wage demands he wants and our current structure. So unless we change that I can’t see this crossing the line hence poch speaking up,

It is clearly Eriksen’s decision but personally I’d rather he decided to stay and we had him than Isco. But if he is going Isco is probably the best we could hope for. Wonder if RM still want Eriksen if Isco stays and they get Hazard.
You do realise that if Isco did become available there would be some seriously rich clubs in for him?

I never like to be negative as it's good to dream but we have no hope of signing Isco.

To be honest Isco worries me. I'm afraid we're going to smash our wage structure to get him & then have an Ozil or Alexis Sanchez type situation on our hands. I know there's never a guarantee signings will work out but we aren't a club that can afford to take too many "risks" ...

I trust Poch to pick a suitable replacement for Eriksen and lets be honest, he earned that much and more. What I don't trust is Levy and how willing to go get Poch the replacement he asks for if it means prying open the padlock on his wallet. We will get a last perceived minute bargain and the same load of drivel as we always get about what a tough market it is nad how hard we tried. Well other teams seem to manage to get the players they want in the same tough market......

Have you watched Isco play? He is potentially one of the best attacking midfielders in world football and has potential far in excess of either of those players imo.

I have seen only snippets of him to be fair. If Poch thinks he's the player for us, than lets do whatever it takes to get him. I guess I'm saying we don't have the finances to be able to "carry" players the likes of Ozil & Sanchez on monstrous contracts who just don't turn up.

How old is he ?

While Real may well be very interested in Eriksen, he may not be their only option. Watching the game tonight remained me that it might well be Hazard with similiar contract situation that could be their first choice.

Given hercs first piece of itk, they could be moving for multiple players, and that could well be Eriksen and hazard. Eriksen to replace modric, hazard to replace Ronaldo & isco.

If he only wants Real / Barca, we should include specific release clauses for those clubs at around the same value we'd sell him now so it would get rid of the possible German, French and Italian clubs. I suspect what will happen if he really won't sign is we agree a sale now for the summer and try to keep confidential so we could look for replacement without people taking advantage of the Eriksen fee.

Has anyone thought that Eriksen maybe waiting to see who the next manager of Real Madrid is before jumping ship? He comes across as thinking about his career moves carefully.
With the current climate of their struggles it maybe all change again before the start of next season. That may hopefully affect his thinking and stop him from moving. It seems that he is happy to sign a new contract if he doesn't get the dream move he wants. With uncertainty about the manager that may help us. Fingers crossed it works in our favour.
