Every weaknesses Roles had in the past have gone and he is Stronger,Faster and fitter than he has ever been, his footwork is brilliant but most of all he has a footballing Brain as they say.

If he does not get a chance at some point I will be amazed and very Disappointed,OK if he gets a chance and does not deliver then fair play but if he does no even get a chance that would be madness.

He's, got a big future Imho.

He has played Left back a lot in the past and he does try to make it work but his defending is not the best and long term not sure it would work.
Very much the same as Danny Rose Imho.. When I first saw him. At left back I thought the same..

Danny Rose always had that anger in him making him perfect for the move to left back Georgiou does not have that and Bennetts never wanted to play there.

You will probably remember Rose playing as a winger, don't know about you but when he went into some tackles I had to look away because back then he did not know how to tackle but you knew he was about to take the player Clean out.

How’s Shilow Tracey been getting on?

Seems to have gone a bit quiet on him and there was a lot of hype around the time we signed him from Ebbsfleet.

There was only hype because he was a signing. It's what generally happens, without no real knowledge of the player. Think he was just a gamble but technically inferior to a lot of those who came through. He's like the Sissoko of the last two years, good worker but not much else.

Missed the first 15 mins of first half for u23s tonight as a problem at Finsbury Park train station but a run down from what I saw
Whiteman didn’t really have much to do at all , he didn’t hold onto it us much as our keepers normally do , released it quicker , so that was good . Hinds played well I thought both attack and defence . Tanganga and eyoma also done well but Tanganga did keep giving silly fouls away . Georgiou improved from what I saw in the second half , but he really needs to mix his game up a bit, every time he got the ball their defenders knew exactly where he was going with it . He had chances to play Roles in more then once with cutting back the ball , but didn’t get his head up and just kept doing the same crosses. Oakley booth still baffles me , was on the floor a lot of the time ,you could hear Burnett shouting at him to cross the ball in but never really happened . Duncan seemed to be trying to hard , nothing much to offer and seemed to wear down as the game went on . Roles was roles, created chances , had attempts at goal was so unlucky not to score with the keeper somehow stopping it from going in . He went on one of his mazy runs from his own half all the way to their penalty area where instead of shooting he played it to sterling who I think ended up being off side . He played so much better in second half when he played in the middle of the park , he was completely wasted on the left. Sterling did ok but again better in second half when he went as a striker . He needs to work on his touch and finding his own players to pass to . Jansen looked sluggish and not great but to be fair he was off a long time . But if the truth be known we played so much better when he came off (sorry) . marsh was ok for the first bit I saw , but faded terribly in second half . Tracey I don’t know how he’s still there to be honest . Reynolds made a couple of mistakes but looked good on the ball and can see he has football intelligence . The difference I see between 23s and 18s is that 18s play more togetherness as a team , quick Tempo sharp passing . The 23s hold onto the ball too long , constantly going backwards , too many players trying to do their own individual thing , no real team spirit , but that could be because everyone’s trying to impress and earn new contracts .

Would be good to see Roles rewarded. I go on about how 85% of our academy players have the ability to play for our first team or PL football, but I really don't see the benefit of trying out Marsh. I'd be all for it if playing him meant us earning money to invest into our squad but if we're developing SKipp Marsh isn't going to realistically come through, so it's just a wasted squad place I feel which could have gone to Roles, who offers something different and is vastly more talented. Granted he's more of a risk taker, but I don't really get this only try DM/CMs. Very basic, risk averse players, who realistically aren't going to all be able to get games. How Lesniak, Marsh and Amos got closer to the first team than some of our other players I'll never know...well I do know, they work hard, and aren't considered liabilities due to their style, but still.

It is indeed strange because if we are talking about potential mistakes, those who play CM and CDM will have far more pressure of not making any, while attacking players should in theory get a better chance of playing due to their positions are further away from our own goal, thus we can worry about them less - yet not so currently. In a sense Poch is taking more of a risk by playing youth at CM, CDM and denfensive positions in general, and yet that is exactly where he’s playing them at. I understand there’s a need right now but still.

That Roles run it was a bad touch by Sterling a he ran the ball out of play and I do not think he was Offside.

TOB I thought was OK as always faded in parts as he does, he is working very hard off the ball but he is a long way from the first team at this point in time.

We are seeing the same player. I am desperate for the club to give him a pathway.

Posting this here but feel free to either reply or message me directly.

We seem to have a lot of expertise on the youth team and I keep thinking we should utilise this more but I don't know how.

If anyone has any ideas or thoughts then let me know :)

Do we think there’s a reasonable chance Skipp might be getting some white socks this January or they’d only do that in the summer ?

If Dembele is sold hopefully there will be enough money in the kitty.

This. Getting the odd 500k+ on players help keep the academy going otherwise levy would just see it as a drain and pull the plug.

Kane and Winks coming through have paid for the academy to run for a few years I think, but keeping money coming in as we continue to develop players is a good thing.

Does he wear blue socks or something? Surely his socks would match the team outfit? Not noticed anything...

I think Pritchard, Mason, Livermore, bentalab Have covered it for a long while.

Good to see Shaq scored the other day poor lads had s rough time with mum passing away, I really hope he can keep scoring and enjoying football he always seemed a great lad.
