Is it worth £11m to not have him for the remainder of the season?
He's immense.
Can't turn that amount down much as it pains me to say so.
If King had wanted to leave for a foreign club for one last big payday to see out his career, I certainly wouldn't have begrudged him that.Would all those advocating his sale have advocated the sale of Ledley King if a decent offer had come in?
£11m now or nothing in the summer isnt much of a decision given his game time so far this year. As much as i love him as a player i think he will go.
Not just his lack of game time but he's visibly struggled this season when he has played.
And we're not doing badly without him.
In an ideal world we'd keep him til summer but his performances early in the season might have made up Poch's mind, as well as the circa £10m fee and saving £2m in wages.
Would all those advocating his sale have advocated the sale of Ledley King if a decent offer had come in?
Absolutely love Dembele as a player. It's going to be difficult to see him go but with his long term injury record, it could be the right move for both him and us. I'll always remember him bossing the Juventus game in Turin last season.
A peak Dembele is probably in my top five Spurs players of all time.
