Just before I read this the thought struck me that Burton might actual beat Man City. I haven't been drinking and soon realised it was a silly thing to think.

I'd be surprised if City don't reach double figures on aggregate.

i think it'll be a 5-0 1st leg, then a reserve city side to play out a draw. We're going to need to stick 3 past chelsea to make them give up in the 2nd leg unfortunately. 2 and they might think they have a chance. anything less, and i worry. Chelsea have enough worries trying to hang onto 4th, so if we can encourage them in that so much the better.

How will a Liverpool defeat be a crisis? They fielded a side with 9 changes(10 if you count Lovren being hurt 5 minutes in). A defeat is nothing for them. They dont particularly care about going through

Think they are not to worried about that defeat... more focus on winning the league now. Though it could be a bit of a mental challenge to lose 2 games in a row...

So long as we stay in the cup we have a chance at silverware, not so sure about the league cup and if we can get past chelsea (2 legs though so a good chance) to face mighty burton.
Seriously though, at some point if we want something this year, we're probably going to have to do city, bit nervous about those odds tbh.

Eton by any chance old bean ?? o_O

we were last out of the bag. Ensured we didn't get league 1 or 2 sides again. A serious side should brush CP added with or without Zaha tho.

I like BT's picks actually. Thought Auntie would've had Wimbledon - WHAM over either the Chelsea or Everton games.

Talksport were covering the Toon match, it started to glitch out on the car radio early on and almost missed the goal, but it just shit out finally about five minutes ago and, almost instantly, Moose comes in, welcomes the listeners to Luton v Wednesday and completely heroed it. Called the match play by play for the duration and did it well. Tikaboo, Mr Abraham, stepped into the breach and defended it well - I slag off a lot about the presenters and pundits on here but credit where it's due, professional job.

Shrews putting Stoke to shame in the final ten minutes, just made it 2 - 3!

Tomorrow's televised match Southampton v Frank Lampard's Derby County on BBC1 will probably be an anti-climax - but with a result at the end of it.
