Hypothetically - can he be registered this month for PL play? Say Llorente is sold and VJ shows some semblance of life...

Don't know why he couldn't be. You can register new signings, you should be able to register players on your own roster again.

Did he perform ok?
I don't really know what to say..he was always looking to get into the game. Made one very good run which the keeper ever so slightly beat him to the ball He got the hump with one rash challenge.. He want to compete in esscense.
More like a horse first time out needing the run is the best way to explain.. As said looks like he can lose some upper body weight.

He always looked somewhat heavy to be honest. Could just be his natural shape, or it could be that he's never been in great shape since joining us!

I'd be surprised if there wasn't interest in a loan deal from a lower level Premier League team like Huddersfield this month.

I'd hope not. I'd rather him stay and work with us now and see if poch can get at him.?.he's got ability Imho. He really did look overly muscled above the waist tonight.. He's only 24 and I think he's still got around 2 1/2years left on contract .

Strikes me as a player who needs rythm and confidence but will score in runs. Never looked fit/fast enough but linked well with sonny .

Now that he's fit I can't help but think that at the very least a Dutch team would want to come in for him. He was top scorer in that league before he joined us and I'm sure there's at least a few clubs in that league that would want to see if he can do that again. He was the main striker for the national side as well at one stage.

We signed him for 20m euros and would probably want that back considering his age - bit of a stretch though. I'd personally like to see him given a chance if we end up selling Llorente. As has been said in this thread already, there is no better example of a player going from rags to riches, in terms of his ability and contribution to the team, than Sissoko. With the right opportunity there's every chance Vincent could do something similar.

I feel for the kid tbh. He's always worked hard and showed willing and I swear, had he taken a golden chance in his first game away to Everton that probably would've won us the game then his career with Spurs may have been very different.

Would love to see him turn it around and become a reliable backup to Kane.
