One thing I do hate about "The Magic of the Cup" is the way it seems to give many players in lower league sides apparent free reign to launch themselves into dangerous tackles and clear fouls, all safe in the knowledge they will generally get dismissed as "getting stuck in" and "making a battle out of it".

Too many fat fucks throwing themselves at our players with no intention of winning the ball, getting cheers from the crowd for blatant dangerous play.

I love Skipp and hopes he plays the whole game but he was poor in the first half, lost the ball too many times

And Lucas with another average performance, he will not be the star some thought, he is still a decent player and a good squad player but will never be better than that

Thank fuck we got that (slightly freak) goal. Pretty turgid low-key low-tempo going through the motions stuff so far.

Lets be honest, our main attacking players (Son, Alli, Moura) have all been fairly abysmal so far and so it's going to be hard to put on any sort of quality attacking football. Hopefully we can step it up a bit in the second half and get the game put to bed.

That and the SHIT camera angle, I mean, I didn't invest money in nice a TV, BT sport HD and surround sound for this shit show of a camera angle. Fucking Tranmere.

I thought so but the commentator said it came off Monthe but I didn't see that from the view behind Aurier

Don’t know who it was, but on one of the replays you could clearly see it. May well have beaten the keeper anyway.

Not a great performance after the first 15 mins, but we’ve still created enough chances to have killed the game and I’ve been impressed with our attitude.

It's almost like those Tranmere players are from Liverpool and are trying to injure our team
