He's putting the work rate in alright, but his touch and passing are still pretty sketchy at times.

Some have gone way over the top with Sissoko both bad and good.

We all know he was terrible for 2 years. This season is a huge improvement but most of that is because he was so bad previously. He has been excellent in about 5 games so far and the rest have been average to decent performances. I can't say he should of got anything more than a 6/10 for his performances since the Inter game. He and Winks we probably worst on the pitch last night, maybe only outdone by Trippier.

Still lets all enjoy the Moussa banter resurgence.

He hasn’t been terrible for two years mate. Yes he has had moments with air kicks and the like but I don’t think you could argue he didn’t put a shift in. Seriously that is the kind of fucking lazy narrative that passes for creative comment on here.

That’s a typical sycophantic fan on the bandwagon comment to please the hive mind on SC. Everyone says Sissoko is useless therefore he must be useless. Like those ****s that dissed Lamela for three years and the rest of us had to keep reading that cock every frickin day way past it’s use by date.

Get some objectivity and perspective and stop following the other fucking lemmings on here.

Wonder what Newcastle fans have to say - more surprised than us or did they think he could do it so consistently at this level ?

Another solid performance today, his transitioning and his one twos quick and swift really work with our front 4 and it looks like they love playing with him.

Teams will be as scared of him as they are kane but in a different ways. He is regularly popping through 3/4 field delicate weighted through balls which are highly effective. He's done quite a few assist to the assister passes recently. The one v inter being my favourite.

No need for me to backtrack, I've always had his back. Now at this part of the season I'm glad that we didn't buy anyone. This version of Sissoko may never of happened and also winks getting good minutes and the emergence of Skipp, who also looked good today.

The MOTD crew asked Eriksen about Sissoko's form post game. Christian said he scares opposition players when he runs at them with the ball because they know if they don't get out of the way he'll just run through them. It was clear that he enjoys playing alongside Moussa atm.

Sissoko reminds me of a Running Back in the NFL you give him the ball and he powers you from a defensive position deep into opposition territory. He is a now a really really good box to box player for us..

After seeing the comments of several Newcastle fans I thought we were daft when we bought him but also remembered some of the performances he put in for them against us. Very disappointed with many of his performances for us in his first two seasons and wondered where that Sissoko had gone. Now he is frightening other teams which allows space and time for other players to create and score. Long may it continue !

Probably the biggest turnaround i've seen in a spurs players performances under Poch, and there has been a few. I couldn't understand the buy before we bought him, nor could I understand it afterwards. But given a consistent run int the team this season and he's more than proven himself. He has been improving game by game but I thought he was really outstanding yesterday. Linked so well with the front 4. I was very wrong about him.

Sissoko played a similar central role to this last season in the cup competitions.

But the problem last season was that he was playing in the rotational team so when he ran into the box there was no-one to give the ball to. The fans then got on his back for having no end product/giving the ball away in the box.

Now he's playing with the starting eleven he's got Kane, Son, Alli, Eriksen etc all moving and available for the ball when he makes his runs.
As a result, we all see what he can add to the team rather than what he can't.

What a guy, the mental strength he has shown has been unreal.

He's taken a lot of stick, which could break someone, but he never let his head drop and continued to work hard. At a time when we were really short of options he's stepped up to the plate and saved our season.

People will talk about Kane or Eriksen getting injured would really hurt us.

But Sissoko getting injured would hurt us the most, by a mile imo.

This is silly.

Not ridiculous as we do have Dier, Dembele and Wanyama out but still, come on dude.

I have enjoyed his improvement but think that is OTT.

It's not OTT. You're looking at it from an individual point of view, but looking at the collective he's absolutely crucial to us.

He's massive reason as to why we look so dangerous in attack, as he's bursting through the lines and opening up all kinds of space for our front four.

His work rate is phenomenal and what I'm saying is we'd cope better as a team if we lost one of our attackers but losing Sissoko would really hurt us in the middle of the park and would affect the overall level of the team performance more.
