if they had said once they knew there would be a delay that as a season ticket holder you would be assigned the same seat as last season, and then refund the difference. so as an example as a ST holder the cost of a Cat C game last season = £40, but due to the ticket you have purchased for the New WHL that ticket for that match would of been £60, so you only got a refund of £20 instead of the whole £60 then more Season ticket holders would attend the matches. Now they can pick and choose the games they want.

the below is the post for the reasons why I believe the costings are what they are. just remember ST holders if they decide to book a ticket for any match are still receiving a small refund and a discount compared to members, unless your buying tickets in a dearer area for Wembley

I was talking members and general sale folk, really. In regards to the dwindling attendances - by my reckoning we would have got closer to 50k if the tickets were around the £30 mark, rather than the chepest being from £45 and us barely drawing 30k+.

The ST remark was aimed at BBLG's tourist/uncommitted fans comment...

the Southampton game was our lowest. it might even be the lowest we have ever had there in all comps. it might go down even more the next few games because the ST holders don't have the pressure to have to go.

my remarks are seeing ST holders wanting something in return because of the delays, something that the club isn't even at fault for, and at the moment is costing the club itself a lot of money, and the team the backing that might be needed.

they won't offer members prices less than what they are offering ST holders the price to go (even though there isn't any such thing till the new stadium opens now days). If they had known well in advance about having to use Wembley for half a season, they might of applied earlier for the increase to then allow tickets to be slightly cheaper.

Nor me. Having said that I’m still in two minds whether I really want to go. A proper match day in front of a full crowd may be the best introduction.

Get what you mean, but having watched the whole build from start to almost finished and being frustrated with numerous delays I'm just so desperate to go and visit it.
